NARAL drops Roberts ad

Heh:

After a week of protests by conservatives, an abortion-rights group said Thursday night it is withdrawing a television advertisement linking Supreme Court nominee John Robert to violent anti-abortion activists.

"We regret that many people have misconstrued our recent advertisement about Mr. Roberts’ record," said Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America.

In other words, "we pulled it, but not because it was wrong, but because you misinterpreted it!"

It’s okay. At least now everyone knows it was a nearly criminal hatchet job, and they’ll figure that NARAL is just blowing smoke up everybody’s…well, you get the picture.

    2. - Just once I’d like to see some prominent figure turn around and slap a defemation lawsuit on one of these lefty controlled groups to at least rein them in a bit. This “Homer Simpson” by NARAL may just be their swan song……

I think a communications director resigned, too, right? Every little bit…

    4. Yep – of course he didn’t say whether his resignation was tied to this scandal or not.
