He’s mad as heck, and he’s not gonna take it anymore!

Read what one Rep. Cynthia McKinney constituent who has had enough of her race-baiting foolishness plans to do about it:

Imagine having a representative in Congress who cares nothing about their constituents. Imagine your representative constantly being a target of mockery because of lunatic statements that would make great headlines at The Onion. Imagine having a virulent racist as your representative. Imagine having a representative who cared only about themselves.

I don’t have to imagine these things. I have to live with this every day.

Cynthia McKinney is not unfit for her job because she is liberal. There are plenty of liberal Democrats in this country who serve their constituents well, even though I often disagree with their positions.

Cynthia McKinney is unfit for her job because she is a do-nothing demogogue whose apparent goal in life is self-promotion through race-baiting and conspiracy theories.

So I am throwing down the gauntlet.

Unless a better candidate appears, I will run for Congress against Cynthia. If I have to spend every day after work knocking on doors in my district for the next 20 years, I will do what it takes to defeat her. If I have to places calls to every person in this country asking for donations to the campaign, I will do it.

Of course I would rather not have to do it myself. I will happily support any candidate who stands a better chance than I. I don’t really care if they are Democrat, Socialist, Green Party, or Communist. It is absolutely impossible to be worse than Cynthia. Heck, I’d even take Rev. Sharpton over Cynthia any day. At least he has a sense of humor.

So please folks. Come up with a viable candidate. Or I am going to have to file some papers soon.

Heh.

Hat tip: His heh-ness himself

Well, if I lived in that district, I’d vote for him over “Buckwheat” any day… :o)

You have to have two qualifications to be elected in Georgia’s 4th Congressional District first you must be Black and the second you have to be liberal. Dignan doesn’t fit in to either category.

  4. Lorica says:

3 qualities Jim. You must be stupid to re-elect this woman. It would be like the people of Chicago re-electing Carol Mosley-Braun or Rostincoski(sp?). After Braun visited Eddi Ameni she said that he was a delightful host and she made a life long friend. After hear such a comment out of her mouth I thought this is a man who ATE people. How Delightful. – Lorica

  5. - Watching the slow, but enevitable demise of the Sourthen militant caucus is not going to be pretty. The ramped up heated rhetoric is just beginning. McKinney was on TV this morning and fillibustered right through the commentators questions, refusing to address a single issue, and simply re-stating all of the same shop-worn out-of-step screeds we’ve all heard a thousand times before. She is the poster woman for the “cause”. A cause that, for the most part, no longer exists. But the group will use any platform, any face time with TV and the press they can get these days, because they feel the critical support they need from black America flagging. There is every reason to believe this entire dustup was contrived in order to keep the groups National exposure alive as evidenced by the rush of militant faces to appear at each and every news conference. The exhibitions at the funerals of Parks and King were clear examples of what to expect in the future. Since its controversy, the press will cover the whole process in its usual over-kill of whatever they think will sell. Not-withstanding the efforts of Americans that understand the real peoblems like Bill Cosby, the group will not go quietly into that good night. The race card is all they have left, and far to valuable to let go of willingly.

Lorica, what can be said about the majority of voters in Massachusetts who keep sending a murderer back to the senate?

  7. Christopher says:

That they’re a bunch of brain-dead left wing imbeciles, Jim, who are convinced a bloated, Chivas-swilling drunk who’s never had an honest job in his life spends every waking moment “fighting for the middle class.”

Trust me – I live in this Godforsaken hellhole of a state.

  8. Jim M says:

Christopher I have heard that “Godforsaken hellhole” also refered to as Taxachusetts.

What is this stuff with Isaac Hayes that I keep hearing about??? I have heard that she is doing this to take the spotlight off of her problems with Isaac Hayes. – Lorica

  10. - She improperly used government funds to pay for Haayes plane ticket to a building opening in Georgia. Her office has said she admits it was improper and they will reinburse the Congressional fund for the amount.

    - Here’s another item I just read at LGF. No wonder she is doing this.

“The woman is absolutely despicable; no wonder she has the support of CAIR and other radical Muslim groups.

Just one example: she is using an endorsement from Andrew Young that was taped for an earlier election. Her father was asked on television about this, and here’s his reply:

“..[That] ain’t nothin’. Jews have bought everybody. Jews. J-E-W-S.”

Is it too late for me to move to Georgia so I can vote against this evil woman?”

    - Amoung the questions that always occur to me are; why do these people live in this country if they hate America so much, and don’t they ever realize the truth will come out sooner or later when they try these scams on the public…..

  13. Lorica says:

They need to fire this embarassment to Georgia. So she stole money to pay for Isaac Hayes’ trip. They should call in the IRS, fine her for the violations, and go thru her books with a microscope. – Lorica

Members of congress have immunity. She can’t be arrested, sorry. I think that about 85 members of Congress had their DUI’s dropped last year because… yup. Immunity.

  17. Severian says:

They only have immunity while Congress is in session.

  18. Lorica says:

She is also not immune to an audit of her campaign election funds. At any time they can be audited, and she can be fined for improprieties. – Lorica

  22. sanity says:

A federal grand jury will soon begin hearing evidence about Rep. Cynthia McKinney’s run-in with a Capitol Police officer, a lawyer familiar with the case said late Wednesday.

The lawyer, who declined to be identified because of grand jury secrecy, confirmed that federal prosecutors had agreed to get involved in the case in which a black lawmaker is accused of striking a white officer after he tried to stop her from entering a House office building without going through a security checkpoint.

    McKinney Apologizes to the House:

Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., expressed “sincere regret” Thursday for her altercation with a Capitol police officer, and offered an apology to the House.

“There should not have been any physical contact in this incident,” McKinney said in brief remarks on the House floor. “I am sorry that this misunderstanding happened at all and I regret its escalation and I apologize.”

McKinney’s comments came after the case had been referred to a federal grand jury for possible prosecution.

She had previously insisted she had done nothing wrong, and accused police of “racial profiling.” She is African-American and the police officer is white.

I found the following very interesting:
It was not clear which, if any, of her colleagues had urged McKinney to make the statement she did.

I can imagine that many other Democrats behind the scenes have been telling McKinney to shove a sock in it. She has become radioactive in her own party, especially when Democrats are trying to act like they are tough on Security of this Nation.

Tough on security? I really don’t think this type of message McKinney is putting out is the message they want as being tough on security.

  23. - She didn’t have much choice in the matter. Her fellow Dems made it clear that if she didn’t stop promoting her Southern militant caucus agenda at the expense of the party she would not be back in Feb. So I’m sure its not altruistic change of heart that motivated her. She’s got a real problem now if the Grand Jury decides to proceed. She could lose her seat, with no support from her own party. I think shes getting very bad advice from people who don’t give a damn about anything except their own blind bigotry and ideology.

  24. - McKinney – Part DuexTrios

    - FOX is reporting yet another incident with Mckinney and her ontourage when she was entering the Capital buliding just before she made her apologies speech in the House today……One of her “body-guards” got into a scuffle with a rep[orter/cameraman from “COPS” and threatened to throw him in jail. Now the Capital security people are once again upset with her because its against the law to have your own security people on the grounds of the Capital building.

    - Looks like possibly yet another round of kefluffle but maybe not. Never seems to end.

  25. - I can just hear the conversation in the Dem caucus room last night between McKinney and some of her Dem colleges. “Ms McKinney we really need you to get this behind you. We had no choice but to attack Bush and the administration at every turn and on every issue to try to give the public the impression that everything was wrong with the Republican lead government, and now we have a very difficult task of living down this reputation we’ve gained as being on the side of the Jihadists and soft on the WOT. This whole mess just underscores our lack as a party of toughness on the whole security issue at a time when we can scarcely afford it with elections comng up this fall…..Surely you understand….”… ect ect ect…
