Bob Novak reveals Plame source
Joe Wilson’s entry in the ‘Who’s Who in America’ directory. Drudge has the scoop:
BOB NOVAK, My Leak Case Testimony: ‘I learned Valerie Plame’s name from Joe Wilson’s entry in ‘Who’s Who in America’… MORE Published reports that I took the Fifth Amendment, made a plea bargain with the prosecutors or was a prosecutorial target were all untrue… MORE… My primary source has not come forward to identify himself… Bill Harlow, the CIA public information officer who was my CIA source for the column confirming Mrs. Wilson’s identity. I learned Valerie Plame’s name from Joe Wilson’s entry in ‘Who’s Who in America’… I answered questions using the names of Rove, Harlow and my primary source.

This ‘confession’ of sorts from Novak won’t stop the “get Rove” gang (like Howard Dean, pictured far left)from believing til the very end that the eeeeevil one “outed a covert agent for political gain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”, of course, but it does add one more nail in the this “scandal’s” coffin.

“Following my interview with the primary source, I sought out the second administration official and the CIA spokesman for confirmation. I learned Valerie Plame’s name from Joe Wilson’s entry in “Who’s Who in America.”
- So it yurns out that Wilson outed his wife himself, which is what most people that followed this Liberal scam closely figured from the beginning. There will be rending of clothing, moonbat howling, and darkness in the fevor swamps of the moonbats tonight.

Ok, guys help me out. Why is Yahoo reporting that Novak just admitted that Rove was his source?
I admit I’m a little confused.
But that’s nothing new!!!!!!!!
- The Left wing media is still trying desperately to spin this…. They’re banking on the idea that most people are too lazy to read the whole story and they can keep the lies going. Simple. Novak says that Rove was an after thought, and that after he called Rove he got Plames name from the “Who’s Who” registry, where her husbaand had entered it. He said to Rove…”I heard that Wilsons wife works at the CIA”…Rove replied “Oh you know about that too”. Notice no names were even mentioned, and Rove was only responding to Novaks statement. Theres a bit of a difference between them as to what Roves words were exactly, but both versions are essentially the same.
- Result. The only “leak”, which wasn’t a leak, came from her Husbands entries in several public places, and the CIA contact man. Theres a third person Novak will probably name soon, but he says that person is not an administration official. Basically this was probably a Left-win scam drummed up because Wilson didn’t get the angry response he wanted from the White House over the pack of lies he wrote in his original report.
- Fitzgerald has a bigger problem now. Now everyone knows he’s known this info all along, and that the entire investigation was a partisan sham. The question now is what about Libby. If there was no leak, no crime, then what exactly thats material could he have lied about. More over, Fitz is going to have a very hard time blocking Libby from calling Wilson and others too testify, which could really blow the wheels off this little Liberal charade.
- Things should really get interesting in the coming weeks.
- In a related story, I just heard a guy on O’Reilly’s show state that Michelle Malkin was told by Fitzgerald, that the NYTrash warned an Orginization with known ties to al Qaeda that the Feds were planning to raid their offices. He said Malkin would be blogging on it soon, so maybe we’ll finally get to see what passes for patriotism in the fevor swamps of the Left and the drive-by media.

- BTW, just a heads up….Novak is supposed to appear with Brit Hume on his afternoon news show on FOX tomorrow. That should pretty much scare all the Liberal cockroaches back under their rocks for good on the “Plame non-story”. Don’t be surprised if it suddenly “disappears” from the MSM news coverage.

- Of course one of the other interesting aspects that comes out of this, is if Harlow is one of Novaks sources, then he was acting against agency rules even if all he did was confirm that she worked there. Thats a standing CIA approach to things to just deny everything. If it was legal then she must have been reduced to just a clerk at that time, and had no standing as an agent. But even more interesting is whether this is support of the “anti-Bush” cabal idea, supposidly operating within the agency, using leaks to hurt Bush and cover up their own duplicity in getting caught flat footed by 9/11 and the entire al Qaeda mess. Paint Bush as the bad guy by floating rumors that WH officials were the “source”. Nice little ploy. The MSM won’t be interested now for some reason.

I’m slightly confused, too. Novak said he had THREE sources. It looks like one is Rove, one is Harlow and one is Wilson. Here’s a quote:

If Rove isn’t a source, who is the third?
It was pretty obvious this was a non-story from the beginning. The left wing and left wing media were stupid to put so much energy into this pack of lies.
They had run out of credibility a long time ago, and by putting all thier eggs in this basket, they have once again made themselves look like idiots.
Despite the fact that no crime was committed (so it seems), one can still be guilty of lying to investigators as they attempt to determine whether or not there really was a crime. Is this not so? I mean, it would suck to get busted for lying when there’s nothing to lie about, but that’s what it seems Libby needs to worry about. I would hope that his “crime” would be overlooked, but, since he’s one of Rove’s buds, he could still be worked over legally. Is this true?
