Can you imagine if this was something the RNC planned to do? Cries of “Rovianesque” would be sure to follow …

Update I: The caption in this picture explains exactly why the Dems are changing course on how they address presidential primaries, which also explains why the ‘penalties’ noted in the NYT piece are so high …

    Soooo is this what the DNC has come up with to win in 2008??? Let’s play with that schedule of states abit!!! LOL :o) But, but, but what about health care, what about Iraq, what about…… Nope we need to move our states closer to the beginning. LOL Howie Dean, if he ain’t a mad man, all he needs to do is forget about his meds for a day, and he will be there.

    Also tell me this idiotic thinking can’t or won’t back fire. Lets say in December something assinine happens like what was on display at Paul Wellstone’s Memorial. Now that we front loaded the voting maybe more voters will remember this kind of stupidity when they step into the voting booth and seriously start to think about their doubts with the Dem party. More idiotic thinking of a man who lost his mind somewhere on the campaign trail in Iowa. – Lorica

    This is the second time I can recall, where the DNC has made sweeping changes in how it nominates its Presidential candidates. The last time it opened the Party for the Anti-War wing of the party and gave them George McGovern.

    Now they will move even further out to the fringes as they bend over again. And what’s left out there for them? Not the ethnic voters they think, but the extreme fringes, the shrieking haters and psychotic loons that should embarrass the likes of Harry Reid and Edward Kennedy.

    We could very well see a Republican elected in 2008 by another Nixonian/Reaganesque Landslide. All in the name of Democratic Political Correctness.
