Truthout’s Jason Leopold, he of “Rove told he will be indicted for outing Valerie Plame” infamy, is still not giving up on the “Rove did it!!!” angle even after former Deputy Sec. of State Richard Armitage’s admission – through his lawyer – that he ‘outed’ Plame.

The intrepid Dana R. Pico has the lowdown.

Me wonders how many of the Bush-haters, still desperate to “get Rove”, will latch on to Leopold’s latest little spin ditty in an effort to hold on to the fantasy that Rove was the mastermind of this master plot to ‘get revenge’ on Joe Wilson by ‘outing’ his wife – something that Pat Fitzgerald himself no longer believes (if he, in fact, ever did).

O.K., I’m gettin sick of this crap. The dems are spinnin this better than me when I used to lie to my Mother when I was a teen.
When I saw the loony female wilson attorney on joe, used to be a good Republican, scarbourough, well that segment was sickning, even joe got pissed at her when she said they weren’t sure they’d go after armitage, how assinine is that …. they just want this to go on like a Ritalin charged energizer bunny. Good grief, this is OVER DEMWITS.**==:-@

They don’t need to spin anything, all they do is say “Rove did it!” and *POOF*, it is done. They need no evidence to back up their claims and any evidence to the contrary is part of the great right conspiracy. How sad……..

  3. Marshall Art says:

For the Dems, the charge always carries more weight than the evidence to support it. Since the charge of administrative impropriety has been leveled, the accused is guilty and they figure they’ll find the proof eventually.

What kind of man of honor would allow this to go on for the lenght of time that it did. Did Armatage study under Clinton when it came to honor?? I think Libby should sue Armatage’s pants off. No man should of gone thru what Libby went thru over the last few years. – Lorica

Depends on who’s being charged, Marshall. For Rove/Rumsfeld/Bush/Cheney/anyone else in the administration, you’re right. No evidence needed – the charge is enough.

But if you’re, for example, Sandy Burglar stuffing National Archive documents down your pants, no amount of evidence will be enough to make them pay attention to the incident.

  6. Marshall Art says:

My point exactly Rat, and it’s so freakin’ transparent and predictable.

Rat and Marshall, yeah, the sandy, stuff em down my pants, incident has been completly FORGOTTEN and since he is a dimwit it is o.k. with these clowns.
If he had been a Republican this would still be on the front pages of the lame stream media.[-(
