… and Al Franken blames the rumor on conservatives, even though it was the lefty blog Think Progress that broke the news to begin with
Despite reports the liberal talk network would file for bankruptcy protection by week’s end – that apparently isn’t happening. Franken tells listeners “we’re not in Chapter 11” and pokes at conservative talk hosts and websites for getting it wrong with quips like “who’s gloating now Bill O’Reilly?” We still believe it’s a tough economic situation at the libnet – and several staffers have been laid-off.
Sounds like a roaring success story for liberal talk radio, eh?
I’m sure we can be expecting a story on this from the NYTimes any day now …
Prior:

Well, then how does ass wipe frankin explain the four who were let go with no severence, the think progress fools put that out too, frankin just hates O’Reilly and wants to deny his sucking station is sinking.

First off al franken has no station, air america gets radio stations with low wattage signals and owners of those stations willing to let aar lease their programming on them, in nyc aar flagship stations have been black owned stations, kind of funny in the liberial capital of the world aar can only get black stations here in nyc to carry them, the least aar could do is open up and be diverse, but NOT! now mark riley is on from 5am to 6am chuck d late sunday night/early monday morning, that’s real librial air america, u liberials need to give back some, and stop being nothing more than a softcore version of ur colonzing conservative like ur rightwing cousins, air america ain’t inclusive!

air america…lol…they have fired everybody. the only guy still there is Al Franken. can he handle a 24 hour shift? who is listening to his show? they have to buy airtime. does not sound like a good business model. i think they are trying to stay open until after nov election, and then they will close up shop. this explains why they fired everyone and cut the payroll.

- Reason #1B - Al Franken is hanging around hoping he’ll be able to sell off the office equipment.

Good link G. I like #50 where the stalwart talking Airheads are threatening no action actions if they don’t get paid for services. Understandable since prostitutes demand money up front, the precedents are well established.
With such intrepid loyalty, it’s a wonder they’re able to get to *work* by themselves. Way to take one for the team, ye whore soldiers of lies and crap…
