Check out this ad released by the Rep. Heather Wilson (R-NM) campaign against her Democratic opponent, NM Attorney General Patricia Madrid. RCP has that race as a toss up with Madrid currently up by three in the latest poll, but after that ad, Wilson may see a significant swing in her direction in the coming days.

In other election-related news, and not of the good variety, a new Rasmussen poll has Jim Webb taking the lead over Virginia Senator George Allen by five points. The poll before that showed Allen ahead by 3. Could it be backlash from the Allen campaign’s release of the sexually bizarre fictional book excerpts? I’d wait for a couple more polls to be released before drawing any conclusions. Keep this page bookmarked for all the latest.

Wow, that madrid lady sounds like a total idiot, couldn’t even think on her feet about the question.
The American Thinker article is excellent, as all their work is … I will be cutting and pasting alot this week but in my heart I feel true Republicans will not sit this one out considering the alternative.
Hey guys, just heard on cnn, commercial was on so I switched from Hannity and colmes, that anderson cooper HAS CHECKED Mrs. Cheney’s books out for sexual explicit content and we might be suprized at what we (cnn) found. The leftist media just won’t stop.
I had to watch this commercial twice. This woman should of expected this sort of question. Why she is so tongue tied is incomprehensible.
I don’t think there is any backlash against Allen over Webbs writings. This is why CNN is looking for, and will be blowing out of proportion, anything they find in Lynne Cheney’s book. These Libs are so double minded, their desperation is truly showing. Whatever it takes to take the spot light off of Webb. This kind of behavior is fine for Webb, but is an abomination if Lynne Chenny mentions it in her book. Next made up scandal that will take the public’s attention off of the Lunatic Left please, and make it fast. – Lorica
