You’re kidding, right?
Boy, Kerry is the gift that keeps on giving for Republicans. He’s even managed to top the “I voted for it before I voted against it” idiocy, and his bowing up and blaming everyone else but himself is only making matters worse. He’s using the silver spoon he was born with to dig himself into a hole at a record rate.
But, let’s look on the bright side, this will help energize the Republican base, and it also means Kerry has mellowed in his old age. I mean, he respects the military more now than he did in the 70’s, he only called them losers, not murderers like Ghengis Khan, so that’s a step up for him, I guess.
And here the Democrats trot out Max Cleland again, to pull the same “he’s a hero and victim so you can’t say anything bad about him” BS they are pulling with MJFox. Somebody should tell Cleland that blowing your own legs and arm off because you’re clumsy and were not paying attention to your own ordnance does most assuredly NOT make you a war hero. Only a Democrat would consider that war hero material.

Nope. He truly believes it. You can’t apologize for a belief. I should add that it would be equally wrong for anyone to support him, because his beliefs are screwy.
