Don’t have a lot of time to post this morning but wanted to make sure I posted the link to Michelle’s interview with Michael Steele.
I don’t know a Republican who doesn’t like this guy. He’s in a closely watched race for the Senate, and his opponent, as you already know, is Democrat Ben Cardin - Steele is currently polling around 5 points behindCardin, but is surging thanks to some key endorsements he’s gotten in the last two weeks from several prominent Prince George’s County black Democrats, as well as a bipartisan group of pastors yesterday in Maryland. Even if Steele doesn’t win this Senate race, I predict it will be closer than anyone thought it would have been when the campaign season first started. Steele’s on the move, and Cardin’s got to be feeling nervous going into next Tuesday’s elections.
MKH met and talked to Michael Steele yesterday, and here is her interview with him in her latest Ham Nation.

I don’t understand why polls say Steele is behind.
I would ask Steele to marry me if it weren’t for the fact that I am straight. He is very likable.
My gut feel is that Steele will win in a landslide. You can bet on that prediction. I believe he is like an Arnold in that he has a cool name, endorsements from both sides of the aisle and has camera appeal and carries himself well. It almost doesn’t matter where he stands on the issues but yet he does have pretty good stands on the issues.

There is a post that I wrote late last night before Hot Air went with it this morning—Michael Steele is just over the border from me here in the People’s Republic of Northern Virginia —and I plan to call for his campaign. I can’t vote, but I can let my fingers do the walking!!!
