He’s done the exploratory committee thing, and today, he will (or has?) announce(d) his intentions to run for the Republican nomination for president of the US. Drudge has an advance copy of Governor Romney’s speech.
He’s announcing the speech in the state he was born in: Michigan. Mark Hemingway at NRO explains why Michigan is such an important state in terms of primary votes for presidential contenders.

As an Evangelical Christian, I would vote for Mitt. I think he is a pretty good guy, and is sensible enough to do a wonderful job as President. – Lorica
