I think so.
I swear I was almost embarassed for her after reading the transcript of her comments today on the tense situation between Iran and the UK over the 15 captured British soldiers. Here’s what Rosie O. opined about it:
“But interesting with the British sailors, there were 15 British sailors and Marines who apparently went into Iranian waters and they were seized by the Iranians. And I have one thing to say: Gulf of Tonkin, Google it. Okay.”
Allah’s got the video here.
This isn’t the first time, by the way, that Rosie has tried to push conspiracy theories onto View audience members and viewers. This latest outburst, combined with the rest of her fanatical moonbatty ravings, have lead me to conclude that Rosie O. is indeed the stupidest woman on TV - and quite possibly in the entire country.
I should note that Rosie O. isn’t the only person out there who has advance a “Gulf of Tonkin” conspiracy theory. Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) wondered in January 2006 if the admin would pull a “Gulf of Tonkin” in order to ‘justify’ a war with Iran:
Hey, Rep. Paul, what’s that you’re smokin’?

Sorry, guys but I’ve had it with the left. Let the Iranians develop Nukes, drop one on London or Tel Aviv and unleash a REAL armageddon in the Middle East and then haul Rosie and Co. in front of the cameras for their opinion.
They make me so sick, and Rosie is a certified nut. I think she has lost all sense of reality and lives in her world where everybody loved us until the evil Republicans took over.

The only reason she might not be the dumbest woman on television, would be if she actually is a guy in drag.
Otherwise, she’s got it down pat.

and all the while Barbara Walters let it go unchallenged.
Too bad, because Rosie is a direct connection to the credibility to Walters, and when Barbara Walters doesn’t challenge or even say ANYTHING to refute or even put a common sense spin on on rosie, all it does is make Walters credibility go down the drain.
Can’t remember the news person that said it, but someone recently mentioned that Rosie is going to be te downfall of the credibility of Barbara Walters…..and they may be right.

I don’t know much about Barbara, so I don’t know if she ever had any credibility or not. No, I don’t live in a bubble, she just hasn’t ever been my cup of tea.
As far as Rosie goes, she’s definitely not my cup of tea. I’m not sure how one rises to stardom in the tv world.

How long does Rosie and her “wife” think they would last in a fundamental Islamic state like Iran? Oh, excuse me, it’s Christianity that’s the threat to liberty, in her warped mind.

I’m thinking maybe Walters was just kinda having a WTF moment, and maybe came to her senses during a commercial break and bitch slapped Rosie. I mean really, please put your brain in gear before you engage your mouth!!!Walters can’t be THAT desperate for ratings, could she???

“It” was saying, of course, that this could be the Ron Paul moment. Giving “it” credit where due, she did, albeit with dramatic pause, use the word “apparently” when addressing where the boat actually was vis-a-vis Iranian waters and although that implies a belief in the Iranian claim about disputed waters.
She addressed the Tonkin incident like it was a bad thing and if war was the idea, we couldn’t have come up with another trigger, or just said the hell with it and gone straight in? I suppose “it” would prefer that we wait for a nuclear bomb to be developed before we do anything about the direction Iran is heading. But then, “it” probably thinks the intel on Iran’s nuke program is bad too. Well, after all, there is oil in Iran too, so there’s money to be made for Bush and Halliburton, right?
Couldn’t The View come up with ANYONE better for the con view or was that the idea, i.e., let’s get an attractive blonde who’s not too aggressive to “represent” as a minority of one, the con view so that the nation will believe she actually does “represent.” That is, from The View’s perspective, she’s perfect. I can’t tell if she’s smart or not because she isn’t aggressive, she just let’s them all gang up on her.
BaBa WaWa’s cred was gone long before “Whoasie” got on the show, but she didn’t get any back, either.

Is Rosie aware that lesbians like herself would be executed in Iran?
I know she’s said that Christians in this country are just as bad, but yet she’s still here isn’t she?

Is Rosie aware that lesbians like herself would be executed in Iran?
Mike, that would require having at least one functioning brain cell. Why should she think when it’s so much easier to just go on TV every day and preach hate?

….it has become fashionable to presume that the Gulf of Tonkin incident was a government enabled scam that resulted in the US war with Vietnam. This view has been promoted for some years now by some of the most liberal elements of the mainstream media, to the point where it’s now (almost) an assumed truth. But the reality is otherwise. I have studied and even read some of the actual Navy dispatches of that day, and there is no evidence to suggest the skippers of our USN destroyers were trying to pull the wool over anyone’s eyes. They were doing what they were trained to do -protect their ships and crews.
As one who spent part of his youth in the Tonkin Gulf, I’m inclined to trust the word of a seasoned destroyer captain over that of Hollywood hacks like Ms O’Donnell.
It’s all about duty, honor, and country. And remembering that the coward dies a thousand deaths, the brave only one.

What do I know about Rosie O’Donnell? She said women should report their gun owning husbands, disarm and jail them, but her bodyguard went to the Greenwich CT Police Department to apply for a pistol permit, told them he had an illegal(in CT) gun in the car, was arrested, and she claimed it was illegal search and seizure.
I have yet to see her qualifications as a structural engineer, but she doubts that two fuel-filled jets could have brought down my former workplace, thus contradicting evidence given by the NYC Fire Department and structural engineers including some that worked on the World Trade Center project when it was built.
I say she’s nuts, but when was she ever funny?
