Will Senate Democrats put the brakes on the ’short-term funding’ war supp idea?
That’s what it looks like.
Will these clowns ever get their acts together? While they’re diddling, our men and women are fighting, and the funds question still remains up in the air, because House Democrats would rather pander to their Nutroots base than come up with a bill independent of input from the loonies who are dragging them around on short leashes.
Speaking of House Democrats, did you hear about the spat Rep. David Obey got into with Rep. Kucinich a few days ago? Obey, as we’ve witnessed before, is running on a short fuse with the hardcore anti-war left, and he and the man who wants to be but never will be president apparently had an argument recently over the Iraq war supp, an argument that offended the delicate ears of some of the other House members. These are the ‘grownups’ who have been put in charge? Lord help …

Gee, we seem to know every explitive that Dick Cheney ever used? Is David Obey’s tongue somehow more vile than that of Cheney, or does the media have different standards when reporting on democrats.
