Mitt Romney on Hillary Clinton’s “shared prosperity” economic plan:
“Her view is the old, classic, European caricature that we describe of big government, big taxation, welfare state,” said the former Massachusetts governor.
“She gave a speech a couple of days ago and laid out her vision for America. And as I listened to her I figured her platform wouldn’t even get her elected in France,” Romney, who was a missionary in France, said to chuckles and applause.
In recent French elections, conservative Nicolas Sarkozy captured the presidency, defeating Segolene Royal in her bid to become France’s first female president.
Ouch …
Ok, great line, Mr. Romney. Now, would you give us the specifics on your immigration plan?

But wait !
She could be elected garbage collector !
If she put forth a plan to the town where the bottom 50% of income earners pay less than 4% of the garbage fees and the top 25% of income earners pay 85% of the garbage fees, I’m thinking she’ll get 50% of the vote right away. Then out of the other 50%, She’ll easily get at least a third of votes.
It is EASY as a socialist to get a lot of votes no matter how much your policies will CREATE problems and hurt prosperity and cause laziness and unemployment.
We are only lucky that here in this country we have a freer press than in France (I’m speculating).
BTW for you leftists out there the garbage fee analogy above was the current “income tax” situation in America except that the 85% number was rounded up from 84.6%
Wow, a republican actaully going bare knuckles against a democrat? What is the world coming to?
Most people never really change.
They only become more of who they really are.
Look for more of the same from Comrade Clinton.
What Hillary SAYS is one thing. But I’d also suggest folks be mindful of the people she surrounds herself with. That’ll tell you an awful lot about what a Hillary administration would REALLY be like.
