The Panthers at the Falcons (UPDATE: PANTHERS WIN 27-20)
Gametime is 4:15, but I wanted to go ahead and blog about it as I’m getting ready to go out and grab a quick lunch and run some errands and I’m not sure I’ll be back in time for when it starts.
Let’s hope it’s not as painful to watch as last week’s! Perhaps it won’t be, as Atlanta’s season sans Michael Vick is not off to a very good start.
Update: It was a sloppy game, but a win nevertheless

And did anyone watch Brett Favre pick apart the Chargers? Man, even with a mediocre squad the long-in-the-tooth Favre will still beat you on any given Sunday…

The Packers have had some nice drafts over the past few years. Favre still has skills, the receivers can catch the ball, and they have a good defense. So mediocre? I don’t think you can say that (and I’m a Vikings fan who hates everything Green Bay).
I am pleasantly surprised the Pack are 3 and ZERO! The Vi-Queens are next with their cast of cast off Packers.
That said, if the Packers manage to lose to the “Vi-Queens,” it can then be said that the Packers are awful. There will be a corresponding rise in paint thinner drinking as well.
