Two ads - several big distortions. FactCheck has the ads, the context, and the correct facts and figures here.

I guess asking for a teensie weensie bit of honesty out of the Democratic party campaign season is asking too much.

In related Dem party news, Marc Ambinder blogged earlier today about the latest proposal by Michigan Dems to try and resolve their delegate dilemma. I don’t think it’s going to fly, primarily because it appears to benefit Obama way more than it does Clinton. She would only net about 10 delegates out of the deal, whereas if the results stood as is she’d net 18. Ambinder reports that the Obama camp is saying they’ll review the proposal.

No word yet from the Clinton campaign.

DNC Chair Howie Dean thinks he’s going to be able to resolve the FL and MI mess by June. I don’t see it happening.

  2. FactCheck Fact Checks The Latest DNC Smear Ads…

I wonder why Barack NMN Obamessiah hasn’t told the DNC to stop running the ads? He is Mr. Hope and Change and a different type of politician who doesn’t engage in the negatives, right? At least that is what he tells us.
    The latest ad is pl….

  3. FactCheck.org Agrees - DNC Takes Over Obama’s Lies…

On Monday I went after Howard Dean and company for picking up Obama’s lies with another less than truthful ad. Now FactCheck.org has examined the Democrat’s latest prevarications and found, once again, that the Democrats’ ad “twists” what Senator …

  2. The Dems will continue to whine about Republican attacks and hate all the while spewing lies, hatred, and attacks.

    Ho-hum. Nothing’s changed.

  3. While I realize the DNC ads are total hyperbole, I’m really worried about how they reflect on McCain’s Iraq views. He’s made it clear that he supports staying in Iraq indefinitely if the occupation is peaceful, but nothing about what he would do if that best-case scenario doesn’t pan out. This leaves the traitorous Democrats to imply that he would ALSO stay in Iraq indefinitely if the situation didn’t improve.

Until McCain speaks out about this, the Democrats will always be able to smear him like this–and I think it’s a pretty devastating smear (for god’s sake, we already lost one election cycle hugely over the unpopularity of the Iraq military presence).

But I think the RNC lawsuit over the ad is stupid. I want to be free to take Obamamania’s absurd drivel out of context too, if it’s effective–and the lawsuit decreases our ability to do that. I know McCain wants to be honorable, but you don’t win presidential elections by being honorable.

Yes Eburke… Let’s tell the enemy what TACTICAL changes we’ll make on the battlefield so that EBURKE knows and will feeeeeeeel comfortable. It’s all about Eburke as Department of Defense analyst armchair quarterback extraordinaire. Matter of fact, I hope they give you a call and get your tactical plan because I trust it MUST be good. :o

I’m having fun with you… as you can tell…

If a Democrat has ISSUES with not knowing the “plan” because of their own me me me and logic issues… so be it. We can defeat them on the battlefield of ideas.
