Matthew Balan at Newsbusters reports on today’s “American Morning” show on CNN, and how anchor John Roberts cozied up to Barry O.:
CNN’s John Roberts apparently took David Gergen’s advice from last week, and during his interview of Barack Obama on Monday’s “American Morning,” declared out of the gate that he wasn’t going to ask the Democrat from Illinois about his former pastor. “I want to just stipulate at the beginning of this interview, we are declaring a Reverend Wright-free zone today. So, no questions about Reverend Wright. Our viewers want us to move on, so this morning we’re going to move on. Is that okay with you?” Obama reacted favorably to this declaration. “Fair enough. That sounds just fine.”
Wow. So does this mean that if viewers would have called and written in droves asking the network to “move on” from pLamegate, NSAgate, FiredAttorneysGate and all the other non-scandals that have come and gone over the years that they drove into the ground, shows on CNN would have listened and “moved on”?
Yeah, (W)right.
In related news, I’ve found another reason not to like Obama: He shot hoops with the Carolina Tarheels last week:

I have never understood the lemming-like flowing of Republicans to CNN and the rest of the MSM. When Democrats started their now-defunct Fox boycott, I said, “Great! Let Democrats have the sinking ship of the MSM, and let Republicans have Fox. And if the MSM overlords want to slime the GOP, why should Republicans stand meekly there and hold the bucket for them?”
Boycotting the MSM was a 100% winner for the GOP, and the irony is that Democrats handed them this gift, slammed the door and ran away. But the GOP still managed to save the Democrats’ bacon anyway by continuing to allow the MSM to maintain the fiction of honesty. I remember the CNN GOP debates with the DNC-planted questions. Did any of the GOP candidates protest this fraud?
If Republican officials must satisfy this weird itch to be publicly abused and demonized, can they at least think of fighting back one in a while to keep the audience interested?
Fat chance! You can bet the next time that a Republican goes to CNN (crawls, actually), he or she will basically whine on air, “Please don’t beat me Massah I bees a good mavrik Republikin frum now on!” It will never enter into the head of the representative of the Stupid Party to actually stand up for themselves and hold the MSM interviewer accountable for their constant lying.
Mwalimu says it all. I wonder if BHO, while being in the the hood, will also be stopping by Duke, to hone his lacrosse skills?
“Obama…shot hoops with the Carolina Tarheels last week.”
What a dork.
