300 foreign policy advisors?

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on July 18, 2008 at 12:55 pm

Well, this explains part of the reason why Obama stays confused on the foreign policy front.  Sheesh.

Update: The fun is already starting in the comments with references to the blockbuster movie 300.  Jimmie at The Sundries Shack is holding a Photoshop contest to see who can come up with the best altered photo combining Barry Oh! images and screencaps from the movie ;)  Can’t wait to see the submissions!

  1. 300? Somehow I can’t see Obama as another Leonidas. :d

Obama and his 300 advisors will never be confused with Leonidas and his 300 Spartans. Big differential in courage and steadfastness. But it does give you an idea how the government bureaucracy will expand if Senator EmptySuit gets into the Oval Office. Except then, we the taxpayers will be handed the bill.

And what is this herd of mooing cattle telling Obama? For one thing, they’re apparently telling him that the Japanese blew apart the U.S. Pacific Fleet with just one bomb:

Throughout our history, America’s confronted constantly evolving danger, from the oppression of an empire, to the lawlessness of the frontier, from the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor, to the threat of nuclear annihilation. Americans have adapted to the threats posed by an ever-changing world.

In fairness, we know Obama has trouble with math. 57 states (for the record, Senator, there are only 50), 10,000 dead from tornadoes in Kansas (the correct number was 12), and now ONE bomb crippled an entire fleet. That’s what 300 advisors will get you.

Either that, or Karl Rove is paying off whoever runs Obama’s teleprompter to make him look jaw-droppingly stupid. :d

LOL, Anthony! Great minds think alike! :d

Sister T, thanks for the link! I’m going to hold things open a few days, since we’re going into the weekend. I have one submission now, but I hope to get a few more.
