Gov. Palin’s approval rating in Alaska

Posted by: Sister Toldjah on September 14, 2008 at 10:44 am

It’s 86%. 86% among independents, and 75% among Democrats.

So with that in mind, it makes you wonder: Why is it that the MSM can only find people in Alaska who don’t like Gov. Palin? :-?

Why is it that the MSM can only find people in Alaska who don’t like Gov. Palin?

Or, how many backroom toilets and sewer holes did the MSM have to traverse to find them? Imagine these poor media folks trying to find a “fix” for their addictive ideology in Alaska.

Rovin, the MSM doesn’t have to look for these people. They just announce they are in town, and these guys come out of their hiding places to act all wounded and hurt and hateful. /yawn They can dig up all they want but all they are going to do is solidify our resolve around Sarah. You would think they would wake up seeing that their treatment of Sarah Palin has just given us Florida and Ohio. Thank you one and all in the MSM. – Lorica

Because that’s all they’re looking for.

Sarah Palin is a deadly threat to the Democrats.

    1. She is a woman.

    2. She is one of the highest elected officials in the
    United States.

    3. Her popularity rating in Alaska, where people know
    her best, is 86%

    4. Her husband is of Innuit extraction, so she cannot
    be accused of being racist.

    5. Her husband is a member of the Steel Workers Union,
so she can legitimately claim to understand the
    problems of union members.

    6. She is a woman who chose, with knowledge
beforehand, to bear a Down’s syndrome child,
so she can be said to be sensitive to special
    needs children.

That’s just for starters. No threat? Get real.

Kind of off this topic, but there’s no open thread. I was reading the idiotic comments from the witches on “The View” and was once again completely struck by the completely stupid, hysterical rant of Whoopi Goldberg. Asking McCain, when he said he believed in Supreme Court justices that follow the Constitution, and Whoopi bleats out “Do I have to worry about being a slave?”

Well, first off Whoopi, contrary to what you may believe us evil Republicans really couldn’t care less about your personal sex life. Secondly, a strict constructionist would follow the Constitution, and there is a pretty precise amendment that specifically outlaws slavery. (Don’t you wish McCain had told her something like “Wow Whoopi, have you ever even read the US Constitution? Didn’t you have a Civics course in high school, or did you sleep through it?) It’s not the strict constructionist who follows the Constitution that’ll slap you in chains, a justice who rules based on his “feelings” and prejudices rather than the Constitution, now, that’s a different matter, no telling what someone like that could justify.

    Sarah out by herself.

Check out her line to other military mom’s at about 7:50 into it. If she keeps that line up – the “our hearts are united” line, Cindy Sheehan will come unglued for sure.

Sarah is a feeling woman who is very intelligent. The MSM will try to paint her into an “uncaring” woman who is some dumb hick of an Alaskan.

We will win because of the MSM tactics are evident and the American people relate to Sarah. Sarah’s pride in running with John is very very plain as day.

  12. Lorica says:

The really funny thing about Whoopi’s comment is, that the Dems wanted slavery to continue, the Reps were and still are, an anti-slavery party. That is what John should have came back with. Or he should have said “Well Whoopi, you do realize that Lincoln was a Republican right??” When the historically stuck on stupid people would have finished all of their gasping and sucking for air, the outrage would have been hillarious. – Lorica

Plus, there’s that whole 13th Amendment thing. I believe Whoopi’s liberty is safe from strict constructionists.

Now, she’d better keep an eye on Robert Byrd, though.
