Ben Smith reports:

McCain spokesman Brian Rogers notes that three of McCain’s fellow members of the Keating Five have endorsed Obama: Former senators Dennis DeConcini. John Glenn, and Donald W. Riegle. All three are Democrats — McCain was the only Republican in the group — and DeConcini and Riegle were among the more deeply implicated officials.

Oops.

In related news, here are a couple of must-watch videos for you: ST reader Anthony has video posted that talks about what he describes as “a video that goes into the background of the Weather Underground terrorist organization, leading members William Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, and their relationship with Barack Obama.” Jason Smith has the entire Sean Hannity documentary “Obama & Friends: History of Radicalism” that aired on Fox last night posted at his website, in 6 roughly 10 minute segments. I watched this last night and if it what you see doesn’t send a chill up your spine, nothing will.

Update: Greg Pollowitz implodes the myth that Team Obama is launching the Keating Five attack “only” because McCain decided to attack him on Ayers:

The only problem is that Team Obama registered “KeatingEconomics.com” on September 25, days before Gov. Palin’s truthful statement about Senator Obama’s association with terrorist Bill Ayers. This indicates that Obama was going to use “guilt-by-association tactics,” no matter what Team McCain did.

Interesting …

Ahhhh the plotting of a ruthless guilty mind. It is always the same pattern. Don’t look to closely at me, look at the other guy.

This TomStPaul is yet another reason you should not even think about voting Barry and Co.

As far as Mac’s involvement with the Keating 5:

In the end, McCain was cleared by the Senate Ethics Committee of acting improperly or violating any law or Senate rule, but was mildly rebuked for exercising “poor judgment”.

So Barry really is attempting to convict an innocent man. Which is always the sign of a ruthless mind. - Lorica

  3. Bob Bennet, the investigator for the senate ethics committee, said that mccain was clean and was only included because the committee didn’t want it to be all democrats that were sited. They put him in there for “such a time as this”. Notice how the devil is a counterfitter.:(

  4. This is starting to get frightening:

Middle School teacher suspended after ‘Obama frat’ spat

A middle school teacher in Missouri was suspended Monday for putting a video on YouTube of his students chanting lines from Barack Obama speeches and wearing military fatigues

In the video, eighth- and ninth-graders wearing military camouflage pants and navy t-shirts chant and perform a routine in the style of a step show, a dance popular among African-American fraternities at universities.

    Heil Obama?!?!?!?

  5. ST asks:

    Will Obama reject these endorsements?

Are you kidding? He hasn’t rejected endorsements from Hamas, Hezbollah, Hugo Chavez, the Castro brothers, and Kim Jong Il, not to mention his buddies Dohrn and Ayers. If he doesn’t find those characters and organizations too repulsive to repudiate, why would he reject the endorsement of Democrat senators who are merely more or less corrupt than Tony Rezko?

  8. Well, this is a novel way of approaching the situation. According to Obama’s campaign chief David Axelrod, you should excuse Obama’s association with Ayers because Obama is essentially clueless.

    LINK

Reporter: At this point, looking back, should he not have done that, do you think?

Axelrod: Well, I mean, when he went he certainly didn’t know the history…

Uh huh. Riiiiight. Obama was completely out of touch with the political cast of characters right there in his own Democrat organization in Chicago. Come to think of it, that might be the best argument they’ve made yet for voting for him. :-j

And his excuse for still associating with Ayers once someone did bring him up to speed? Right now we can’t hear it over the sound of the crickets chirping.

But this makes you wonder - if he was this clueless about Ayers and Dohrn, does he think Ahmadinejad is just a lovable character from a Winnie The Pooh story? Does he know the difference between Hugo Chavez and Juan Valdez? How many other completely foolish and irresponsible character judgments has he made?
