Is the Obama campaign “leashing” Joe Biden?

Average Joe

Time Magazine writes that one of the few things that could derail the Barack Obama campaign is his running mate, so it says the campaign is “hidin’ Biden.”

Karen Tumulty compares traveling with Joe Biden to “reporting on a politician packaged in shrink-wrap” and that he is “leashed to a teleprompter even when he is talking in a high school gym that is three-quarters empty.”

Tumulty says the campaign is so cautious that when she requested an interview, a spokesman said Biden was suffering from a cold that made interviews difficult.

Tumulty added, “I didn’t glean evidence of any symptoms during the four speeches that I watched him give over two days.”

And here it was I was thinking that the only veep candidate who was, according to the mediots, having to have her ‘hand held’ these last two months was Gov. Palin …

The Thing with Obama is that anyone is lackluster compared to him And we all know Biden is a bit of a blowhard. So of course they are hiden Biden. Even if the liberal illuminati don’t want to admit it.

There is just no surprise here. =)) These guys had to do something with Biden. His gaffes were coming just to fast and furious, so to speak. =))

Along with that. Apparently Joe has been running for re-election. I hope he loses his tushie. :D – Lorica

The campaign signs indicate that the candidate is from Delaware, but they don’t give a clue what office he is seeking.

The candidate himself has refused to debate his opponent or appear before the voters he hopes will re-elect him, instead sending surrogates to read canned statements on his behalf at candidate forums.

…a spokesman said Biden was suffering from a cold…

Uh-oh. I hope it’s not a Soviet cold – they’re usually fatal. At least at a high enough political level. Prepare yourselves for VP Pelosi…

  4. Steve Skubinna says:

And lest anyone think I am displaying incipient Eeyoreism, by “prepare yourselves” I mean vote McCain/Palin in by a massive ACORN-proof margin.

Let’s make sure Barry O! has plenty of time over the next four years to write a third autobiography. Even a fourth, if he is so inclined.

He’s got to write the First one, before he can write 2 more.

  6. Dana Milbank said the4 same thing in The Washigton Post; that Biden has been forbidden from speaking to the press! His buffoonery has finally caught up to him.
