What does the name “Obama” now mean?
Oh brother. Get used to fluff like this coming from columnists (and mainstream media news journalists) for the next four years.
That column, by the way, appeared under a huge image of Obama yesterday on the front page of the second of two multi-page special sections published my local paper The Charlotte Observer – a paper, I should note, which is a division of the liberal McClatchy news outlet. The first section, to be expected, was published Wednesday.
What’s next? A national holiday for Obama? Maybe.

I live near Charlotte and decided to send an e-mail to Mr. Tomlinson:
Sir,
You and the rest of the media should be ashamed of yourselves. It is a sad day in our country that you supported and intentionally helped a man win an election, not because he’s Black, but because he daily bashed our country, bashed our President, spent nearly a half a billion dollars while our economy is collapsing and lied to the American people making promises he will never keep. I expect you’ll blame Bush for the next four years for Obama’s failures. We the American people will hold you responsible along with “our” next president.
Regarding your article in the Charlotte Observer:
“Obama means that today a teacher in a crumbling classroom of free-lunch kids can tell them they can be anything, and today maybe they will believe.”
No, America means you can achieve your dream with hard work, not dealing drugs, committing crimes and/or killing each other.
“Obama means there is no more waiting for the first.”
No, America means there were many “firsts” before “The One”.
“Obama means that we never like one bunch to hold power too long.”
Are you kidding me? The media just helped elect a majority of Democrats.
“Obama means that John McCain can go back to the decent, funny, admirable man he was before the campaign.”
And now we may learn “finally” who Obama is. Maybe, just maybe he, too, is a decent, funny admirable man.
“Obama means that maybe candidates will decide the best strategy is to be themselves.”
Absolutely, the best con man won!
“Obama means that appealing to the worst in us is not always the winning play.”
Are you kidding me? Obama told the world for two years that our country is the worst country in the world. Michelle Obama is finally proud of America. Reverend Wright says, “God damn America.” What rock have you been hiding under?

Right on! It’s best you deny they exist or let them live in poverty while you live in a million-dollar home.

As a White, Conservative American, I am thankful to live in the greatest country in the world. I am not a racist because I didn’t vote for Obama, but I fear the racism Obama has brought out in others. I have never hated my country. I have worked my ass off to get to where I am. I am proud of and support the brave men and women who sacrifice so that people like you can spew your hatred for eight years and then overnight pretend that you never hurt this country and its reputation all over the world. I grew up in Michigan and have watched the state crumble under the control of Black and/or Liberal politicians. You better watch out, sir. Putting your candidate on a pedestal might come back to bite all of us in the ass … but most especially you and your colleagues’ asses.

Do yourself and everybody else a favor and 86 that “illuminati” stuff. The Illuminati were supposed to be a SECRET society, and believe me, there’s nothing secret about these guys’ agenda.
What do you expect from the media. They are owned by the liberal illuminati so for the next 4 years this is pretty much all we will get. I heard one well know media person say that it was his job to take it easy on Obama so that he would succeed. WHAT? That’s crazy. If these people give him a holiday I am moving to Canada.
