Before you go to bed tonight, make sure you read this fantastic story about a OK Highway Patrolman Sheldon Robinson in Oklahoma, a courageous man who saved a lot of lives in a Burger King by taking down a man who had a Glock .40-caliber handgun and ammo nearby – and was praying to Allah.
Congratulations – and thank you, Trooper Robinson. Job well done.

Has CAIR filed a lawsuit against the trooper yet? Have they accused the trooper of “racial profiling” yet?
Something doesn’t add up… Glocks and Islam just don’t go together.
Islam and a trebuchet, yeah. Islam and a crossbow, okay. Islam and a big stick with a rock tied to the end, fine. But try mixing Islam with any technology later than the 12th century, and bad stuff just naturally happens.
Islam and Semtex? Islam and jetliners? See what I mean?
There’s a time for sarcasm.
This isn’t it.
I’m glad to know that there are still men like this out there.
My hat’s off to you, Trooper Robinson.
It’s always a good time for sarcasm, Trish, and doubly so when facing murderous neolithic adherents of a retarded death cult. These women enslaving child murderers cherish their mythical honor and mockery is the best non lethal weapon against them. Show them we not only do not fear them but hold them in contempt.
The best weapon of all is a resolute person willing to put himself between these scum and civilization. If you think NC Cop and I are mocking Trooper Robinson you’re way off base.
Trish, we tend to be a sarcastic bunch here – and frankly I wouldn’t have it any other way, but that sarcasm in no way is meant to downplay the accomplishments of our nation’s heros. In fact,in a way it elevates it.
I think this is going to be my new motto.
No offense to you Trish, please know that, but this is truly genius.
God Bless Trooper Robinson, May Angels surround him and protect him. My Jesus look after him and be ever present with him. My the Father guide him and watch his pathways. God Bless Trooper Robinson’s family too. May they all know that the God has them in the palm of His hand. – Lorica
I’m as sarcastic as the next person–maybe more so–but I did think Steve’s comment was belittling to the trooper. It made it seem as if he’d made the whole thing up.
Trish, I didn’t get that at all from Steve’s comment. The sarcasm wasn’t aimed at Trooper Robinson. He’s an example of courage and character that everyone can look up to, but only a few of us could hope to emulate.
The sarcasm was aimed at the islamists and their 7th century mentality in a 21st century world. Derision is a vital weapon in a psychological war, and make no mistake, there is both a military and a psychological front in this conflict. Making your enemy look ridiculous always helps, and that’s where Steve’s comment comes in.
It doesn’t matter whether the sarcasm was aimed at Trooper Robinson or not. It comes across that way.
Trish, with all due respect, please lighten up. There isn’t a person who comments at this blog who doesn’t have the highest respect, appreciation, and admiration for those in law enforcement (and the military, for that matter). In fact, a few who post here have worked in one or both fields, and several are posting in this thread, none of whom meant the slightest disrespect towards Trooper Robinson.
I know that it wasn’t intended, but it comes across that way. Sometimes what we say gives an different impression than what we mean.
What?! Sarcastic?! Who?! Us?! No way!! Not in the Peoples Democratic Republic of Hopenchange!! That would be racist!!
