Hi … (OPEN THREAD)

Sorry I’ve been absent from blogging today. It’s just been so beautiful here and I needed to stop thinking about the Obama administration for a day or so, especially after reading and writing about this story.

I’ve updated the Hot Headlines with some fresh content, and included in them a flashback to two polls done during the Bush era that clearly show that a majority of Democrats wanted Bush to fail (thanks to Patterico for the reminder on one of them).

Here’s something interesting that Newsbusters dug up. It’s a poll from 2006 that found that the majority of democrats wanted President Bush to fail……

If it’s unpatriotic and supposedly treasonous for conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh to want Barack Obama’s policies to fail in the middle of a serious recession, is it similarly so for Democrats who wished President Bush wouldn’t succeed while the nation was at war?

Indeed. I’m sure our ~~watchdog~~ lapdog media will be all over this one, right?

It is interesting in retrospect to reflect back and see it in black and white that a majority of liberals wanted us to fail in Iraq. And, of course, since these were Fox News polls, other networks won’t give them the credibility they deserve, even though the writing was on the wall for years about how a majority of liberals wanted to see us fail or not, poll or no poll.

Wanted to see us fail when human lives were on the line?!?!?!? But yet somehow we cannot question their patriotism. Now we have a person or persons, who want to see Baracks socialist agenda fail, and the apologists are all over this by questioning their patriotism. This is why I despise the majority of extremist leftists. Their thinking is useless, and their moral relativism is astonishing. Anyone who has no problem murdering babies, but will defend a murderer tooth and nail is just sick. To believe that a soldier’s life is less important than their agenda is idiotic.
