California’s budget crisis is no laughing matter, but this picture is worth a couple of chuckles:

ahhhhnold1

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger listens to a reporter's question concerning the state's pending cash crisis, following a meeting with the Governor's Blue Ribbon Fire Commission, at the Capitol in Sacramento, Calif., Monday, June 29, 2009. Schwarzenegger said he would veto any budget plan that includes tax increases and urged lawmakers to reach a solution to the states $24.3 billion state budget plan deficit.

    I shouldn’t have listened to a Kennedy.

Here it comes, it’s coming, at least 20 Courics!

(South Park reference, look it up) :d

  10. Rovin says:

With all due respect Sis, as a native Californian with concern for our state’s financial “baffoonery”, I believe these two also deserve the same opportunity to be “captioned”

I’ve linked your post and for the record, I like NC Cops comment the best, (so far)

  11. Yax K'uk' Mo' says:

When is my choppa going to arrive?? I must get to da choppa! Aaaarrrrgghhhhhh!

  12. Carlos says:

“This is getting reeeeally confusing. I’m telling you that if we tax more our income will be less, and if we keep spending more we’ll be deeper in debt. How are we supposed to keep all the illegals and welfarers happy without spending more? I just don’t get it!”

  13. Wry Mouth says:

Indeed, Yax K’uk’Mo, we all need to GET TO DA CHOPPA, before the Predators/Legislators destroy us all.

As for those of you, the other 90% of the population, in the other 49 states: laugh it up while you can. If your legislature is anything like ours (and the Federal Government *aspires* to be like ours), the Broke Show will be coming your way and quickly.

Texans, Montanans and Alaskans may be immune. ;o/

  14. @Rovin,

I don’t know who the guy is in that photo, but Speaker Bass (D-Elitist) seems to be saying “Ya gotta believe me! You’ll love paying more taxes! Would I lie to you?” /:)

  15. Ray Hunter says:

I woulda been better off doing a sequel to “Last Action Hero.”

  16. SpideyTerry says:

The last time Arnold had that look on his face was when he read the script for Junior.

  17. Foxx says:

    ‘Who let Tapper in here?!’

  18. Craig says:

“I’ll take ‘Budget Crises’ for $200, Alex!”

(NOTE: All proceeds from tonights show will be diverted to buy desperately needed Qur’ans for Califonias public education system…)

  19. Lorica says:

Broke Show will be coming your way

Ohhhh Nooo Wry, I live in Illinois, and we decided not to do a sequel, we did our own damn spin off, which includes an indicted Gov. and his wife showing up as a guest on another very stupid TV reality show. I am so disgusted living here I want to wretch. I need to live in a cool state that doesn’t have a large city in it ruining it with their stupid Democrat voters. Hey How’s that Hope and Change working for anyone out there??? My Hope is that in 2010 Republican win and kick these lowlife pukes outta office before the only Change I have left is the pennies in my pocket after I am done paying my “no new taxes” taxes. Or do we just call them fees now. =)) – Lorica

  20. Carlos says:

That’ll be $17.62 in “user fees”, Lorica, for that comment. Make the check payable to His Hollowness himself, as he would like to bi-pass the middleman (Congress) because they take too much out of “his” fees.

  21. Kate says:

    “I feel my pain…forget yours!”

And Lorica if it’s any consolation….here in PA we have our own democratic governor who is now fighting with the republicans in the state house over a budget that is so heavily over weighed with state programs that even a little kid knows you have to cut something….of course right now Old Eddie is holding his breath and hailing the Holy One for the next Washington bail out.

I am assured of more state income tax, fees and sales tax….I already am aware of a rise in my real estate tax by over 2 mils….I guess I will be working my life away and therefore enabling those programs do whatever they are supposed to do.
