Weak. Very weak.

Jules Crittenden deconstructs Gore’s predictable alarmism here.

:o Oh my stars! Algore is absolutely delusional. :o

What Algore should do: Buy a New England lighthouse built many years ago on a rocky island. Have your OWN weather station, be connected here with the internet that you said you helped to invent, and let us know if the sea levels rise even one thousands of an inch.

“Scientific consensus” aside, early in his delusional bitterness Algore decries the growing dependence upon foreign oil to supply oil for present and growing needs because it fattens the coffers of those who would destroy our nation.

Of course, he also decries, elsewhere, the fact people want to develop the known oil and gas resources we have within our own borders and closely off-shore. The fact foreign nations are taking some of this same oil (from off-shore) and selling it back to us with his silent blessing has nothing to do with the fact that it is there and available for us to develop and use, if we only would.

He just won’t connect the dots.

If a new, magical source of “clean” power were to appear tomorrow, it would still be at least a decade, probably two, before the conversion to this new, magical source of energy could be fit into our existing social structure. What he’s wanting to do is destroy the existing modes of energy that don’t have his blessing (and, just coincidentally, bring him tremendous income), then MAYBE find the new, magical source for powering everything that needs power.

Yup, makes tremendous sense to me. Especially if you consider he considers himself to be a progressive, an internationalist and one of the prime beneficiaries of a new world order.

Talk about a man who is ranting to save the last vestiages of his empire. It is so funny to read this man’s justifications for his lunacy. I say anyone who profitted from this lie, should be tired, convicted, sent to jail, and the keys should be thrown away.

I find it funny how these bb brained individuals always bring up our “dependance” on foreign oil, especially when the majority of our oil comes from the terrorist state known as Canada. =))

We could start drilling off of our own coasts and have enough oil production to replace all of our dependance on middle east oil. Now who is stopping the coastal states from drilling?? What a bunch of jokers. It still amazes me that these guys get elected. – Lorica
