Wisconsin New Tone Watch: The Beat Goes On

Posted by: ST on February 18, 2011 at 10:44 am

Some of the pictures Doug Ross has here are ones you’ve seen via the video I posted last night. Some are new. Wisconsonite Ann Althouse also has a new Hitler comparison picture I hadn’t seen before.

Where’s the media outrage? Where are Bill Maher and Jon Stewart issuing strong denunciations? That’s the other story that is coming out of Wisconsin this week: Not just that disgruntled liberals whose demands aren’t met will use hostage-taking style thug tactics to try and get their way, but that the mainstream media is displaying an unusually overt double standard in their coverage of the protests versus how they’ve covered and treated Tea Party rallies.

None of this is surprising, of course – but it is worth noting.

Now Obama is trucking in Union thugs to intimidate the Wisconsin Citizens into submission. I’ve never been so disgusted by the teachers, the president and public unions in my life.

If someone gets hurt in all these demonstrations on the Capitol Square today and tomorrow, it will be the fault of Obama and his union thugs.

If those hypocrite jerks saw signs like that at a Tea Party rally they’d be pissing their little pink panties over the “heated rhetoric”. The union turds are gonna lose this fight and hopefully be put out of business.

  3. your mama says:

Yeah, where’s the outrage? How come we’re not seeing any of this on any of the alphabet news networks?

Indeed, however, that is not how it will be reported in the press. Look for confrontations between groups and watch how our one party media blames it on “conservative hostility”!!

    Dark days, my friends.

  5. Notice too the press will not interveiw any parents of students affected or even “man on the street” interveiws.

  6. AmericaSpeaks says:

Arrest the awol representatives. Fire the Teachers. Ban the unions. Send the kids back to school. Then impeach our jackass POTUS for his lawlessness. We’ve had it.:-w

  7. Neo says:

… in other worker’s rights news
The Obama administration rescinded most of a federal regulation Friday designed to protect health workers who refuse to provide care they find objectionable on personal or religious grounds. The Health and Human Services Department eliminated nearly the entire rule put into effect by the administration of President George W. Bush during his final days in office that was widely interpreted as allowing such workers to opt out of a broad range of medical services

  8. Carlos says:

Probably can’t arrest the missing jackasses, but they could probably be fired for “dereliction of duty” if they stay out for more than a week or so, since they took an oath to do the peoples’ business. That would work for me.

And now is the time for Congress to get serious about the division of powers and the Executive usurping powers rightfully belonging to the Legislative. They not only need to override Obhammud’s rescission of health care workers’ protections, but go beyond just “defunding” his stable of czars (hos?) and force a showdown about who can and can’t run the government without congressional approval.

In a street fight, no one asks if you fought fair. It’s time for the Repubs to start fighting as dirty as Duh-1 and his house of hos do, within the existing confines of what’s legal.

hey libs….what happened to the kinder, gentler way? and if i’m not mistaken i saw a sign with the dreaded cross-hairs. you libs are such an absent-minded bunch, just a couple weeks ago you said “we” would never do such as that.

i don’t really understand why the teachers are so POed, the gov.is just asking you to pay like all the rest of us do. you are certainly no better than us, so take your cheese and go home.

  10. Dana says:

One of us wonders if our friends on the left, the ones who were just so upset that Senate Republicans were preventing votes they knew they’d lose via the filibuster will be just as upset that Democrats are preventing a vote they know they’ll lose in the Wisconsin state Senate by skipping town and preventing a quorum.

I would like to see a comparison of teacher salary/benefits of public vs. private schools in Wisconsin. My guess is that the public school teachers have significantly higher compensation.
