Ta-Nehisi Coates: It’s RAAACIST for Tagg Romney to joke about “taking a swing” at Obama

The left is in full freak-out mode over Mitt Romney’s son Tagg joking about wanting to take a swing at President Obama. First, the comments – via Politico:

Mitt Romney’s eldest son joked in a radio interview that he wanted to “take a swing” at President Barack Obama after Obama called his father a liar.

“Jump out of your seat and you want to rush down to the stage and take a swing at him,” Tagg said, laughing. “But you know you can’t do that because, well, first because there’s a lot of Secret Service between you and him, but also because that’s the nature of the process.”

North Carolina radio host Bill LuMaye had asked Romney what it felt like “to hear the president of the United States call your dad a liar.”

It was an innocent, unscripted human moment on the campaign – and heartfelt, showing how a son is understandably being protective over his dad. You’d think the Romney campaign’s explanation that Tagg was just noting how stressful and frustrating running for office can be on a family would be enough, but unfortunately for the desperados on the left, this was indicative of a “violent” side to the Romney family and it should be, you know, investigated further. In fact, the Atlantic’s Ta-Nehisi Coates, a black liberal, absurdly freaked out more so than others over Tagg’s remarks. Insinuating that Tagg was serious about wanting to “assault” President Obama, Coates blubbered:

Yes because a good whippin’ would teach that Obama boy to mind his place.

It’s worth trying to imagine any black man associated with a credible black candidate for the presidency, joking about beating down the incumbent president of the United States. Racism isn’t just in what you do and don’t say, but in the terrain you walk. It is baked in the cake — a fact which is hard to understand when you are the party of white people.

The mind-blowing stupidity pretty much speaks for itself. Coates would have you believe Tagg Romney would NOT have made the same remark had Romney had the exact type of battle with a white incumbent Democrat president. The basis of his remarks? TAGG ROMNEY IS WHITE. Did Coates think the same thing of Rev. Jesse Jackson when he talked about wanting to cut off candidate Obama’s balls back in 2008? Of course not.

Which brings us to the next question: Who is the real racist here? Tagg Romney for making an off the cuff remark about defending his dad, or Ta-Nehisi Coates, who sees a racist lurking behind every white Republican? Related to all this, I wonder how Coates feels about the volumes of vicious threats that have been issued on Twitter to Mitt Romney, and the vile rape threats against Ann Romney, many of which have come from black supporters of President Obama? Visit Twitchy.com and type in threats in the search engine and you’ll see what I’m talking about. I, along with several others, have been involved off and on in exposing these threats and pointing them out to the Secret Service’s Twitter account.

Coates’ response to these threats, some of which are ACTUAL racism and ACTUALLY serious in nature? Crickets chirping, of course.

Bill Jacobson at Legal Insurrection writes about the responses from other hyperventilating leftists, and points out their typical deliberate deceptive editing of the audio from the interview. You really cannot make this stuff up.

Parodies of left wing freak outs in progress really do not do them justice. This is how they react when they are on the ropes. Expect more of this abject nonsense over the next two and a half weeks, especially if Obama doesn’t see a noticeable bounce in the polls from the second debate and the last one.

“By any means necessary” and all that. Idiots.
