It’s official: Arafat has died

Wonder what is going to happen now? Who will be the leader of the Palestinian people or will there be a civil war?

My question as well..is this out of the frying pan and into the fire? There is no doubt Arafat was a terrorist…but he was largely innefectual…will he be replaced by
a more effective terrorist?
Hamas and Al Aqsa have dozens of leaders
nearby…if it is to be a civil war…between those two groups and Fatah
we should celebrate and send some weapons!!Either way…hold on!

Eric: It’s going to be interesting to see what happens next there, for sure. I pray blood isn’t shed but I’m not betting on a peaceful transition.
