Weblog Awards finalists

PM Update 4:11 pm: Looks like I spoke too soon – look who made it into the finalists for the top 251-500 blogs :) Make sure to check that post to see when voting begins. They’ve set it to where people can vote once every 24 hours. The poll to vote in will appear on that page Monday. I’ll provide a semi-permanent link on the right hand side of this page shortly for quick access.

Special congrats to Brian at Iowa Voice, who is a finalist in the top 501-1000 Ecosystem blogs category – Brian is one of the most underrated bloggers in the blogosphere, IMO.

PM Update II 11:01 pm: I’ll post my endorsements for the various categories Monday.

Here they are (click on each link to see the nominees).

Yours truly did not make it into any category in which I was nominated. Congrats to those who did, most of whom will be familiar to everyone. I will be interested in seeing how the finalists were selected as I don’t understand the process.

I was nominated by others in two categories: best blog and best conservative blog and, as many other bloggers did, self nominated myself into two other categories: best blog design and best of the top 251 – 500 Ecosystem blogs (Update – I just noticed that the nominees for the latter have not been announced – I’ll be sincerely surprised if I made it … maybe I’m jumping the gun).

Best of luck to all the finalists.
