Not that slow, I am still here. FYI People Christmas is just over 6 months away!!!! I have started my Christmas shopping about 3 months ago. I figure that instead of waiting until December, to just go ahead and buy things that are timeless and on clearance. Thank God it is tradition to remove the price sticker on Christmas Presents. – Lorica

I can’t deal with Christmas yet – I’ve got a 5 year old’s b’day party to plan!

Has anyone ever had to clean black mold from a wall before? I discovered that I have black mold growing under my wallpaper in my bedroom. Guess that explains why I keep getting pneumonia. Am on the way to Lowes to buy bleach and Kilz. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

– In case you missed it MewsMax ran a poll to see how people feel about the “Jersey Girls” dustup, regarding Ann Coulters remarks concerning the four advidly anti-Bush wives who lost their Hubbies in the 9/11 attack by the Islamists. Basically for all the questions asked in the poll over 80% gave a favorable reponse, when asked if they supported Ann’s views.

Most eye opening is when they were asked who they thought was the most believeable, the last question on the poll.

Which is why I continue to think that data supports the general thought that the entire gaggle of anti-American/anti-Bush/Pro-France-Socialism, is less than 15% of the population. Read the rest….

Poll: Huge Support for Ann Coulter

Breaking from NewsMax.com….

Ann Coulter’s new book “Godless: The Church of Liberalism” has created a storm of controversy, but an online poll sponsored by NewsMax.com reveals that Americans overwhelmingly support Coulter and strongly disagree with her critics.

In the book — which shot to the top of Amazon.com’s list of bestsellers the day after it was published and has debuted at the #1 spot on the New York Times nonfiction list — Coulter criticizes four New Jersey widows who pushed for an independent commission to investigate the 9/11 attacks that killed their husbands, and backed Democrat John Kerry for president in 2004.

“These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by grief-arazzis,” Coulter wrote.

Hillary Clinton immediately lashed out at Coulter for what she called her “vicious, mean-spirited attack” on the widows and said the book should have been called “heartless.”

House Democrats from New York and Long Island signed a letter demanding an apology from Coulter, and two New Jersey Democrats sought to have the book banned in that state.

NBC’s Matt Lauer also went on the attack against Coulter when she appeared on the “Today” show, and the New York Times said her book is “in need of flogging.”

But the NewsMax poll – which drew more than 90,000 respondents from sites across the Web, such as Drudge Report and the New York Times – shows that the establishment assault on Coulter and her book did not change many minds.

The huge majority of respondents to NewsMax’s poll – more than 8 out of 10 surveyed – believe Coulter was right in criticizing the four 9/11 widows from New Jersey.

And the tens of thousands of respondents overwhelmingly agree that media coverage of Coulter and her book has been unfair.

NewsMax will provide the results of this poll to major media and share them with radio talk show hosts across the country.

Here are the poll questions and results:

Wrong: 15%

Not wrong: 85%

2) What is your opinion of Ann Coulter?

Favorable: 87%

Unfavorable: 13%

3) Do you agree with Hillary Clinton that Ann’s book is “vicious” and “heartless”?

Yes, agree: 13%

No, don’t agree: 87%

4) Has the media coverage of Ann Coulter and her book been fair?

Fair: 18%

Not fair: 82%

5) Of the three, who would you trust for news and information?

Katie Couric: 10%

Ann Coulter: 86%

Al Franken: 4%

Hopefully this will lead to some kind of punishment for McKinney. But I doubt it.

First she hits the police and now we probe. No, not the dreaded probe! Will it take long? Longer say, than the first however many months of fruitless review required.

And folks wonder why government should have limited “control” and bear “responsibility” over things like schools or should I have said edukashun.

Guess I better break out the Funk`n Wagnals to see what scuffle means. If she and I had scuffled, she have a reason to wear her hair like that.

Two Navy Aegis warships are patrolling near North Korea as part of the global missile defense and would be among the first sensors that would trigger the use of interceptors, the officials said yesterday. The U.S. missile defense system includes 11 long-range interceptor missiles, including nine deployed at Fort Greeley, Alaska, and two at Vandenberg Air Force Base, Calif. The system was switched from test to operational mode within the past two weeks, the officials said…

“U.S. Northern Command continues to monitor the situation, and we are prepared to defend the country in any way necessary,” said spokesman Michael Kucharek.

I only hope all tests are successful and/or point to easy fixes to our systems….

This is getting really interesting. If N. Korea launches, we have 3 options:

Do nothing, and look weak.

Launch an interceptor, fail to intercept, and look weak and foolish.

Launch an interceptor and take the missile down, which will rock ol Kim back on his heels and also wake up the entire world.

High risk, high reward stakes here.

Remembering back to Reagan’s days, when I was working on SDI (one project/experiment I was on was briefed regularly to Reagan, he was personally interested), the usual suspects were all whining that we didn’t need to waste money on a missile defense system, it was a boondoggle, there’s no way we could intercept every missile the Soviet Union launched. When it was pointed out that it would shield, at the least, against rogue nations, they laughed and snidely said that was absurd. Well, now we have a rogue nation with intercontinental missiles, and the system may well prove it’s usefulness sooner than anyone expected.

You’d think the leftists would get tired of being wrong so consistently and over such a long period of time, but since they just redefine what “right” is constantly, I guess it means never having to admit you were wrong.

It used to really honk me off to hear these ivy league leftist egghead “scientists” drone on how the system wouldn’t work, how what was being attempted was “impossible” yada yada yada in their typical liberal elitist snobbish, snide manner. I knew they were full of it, as I knew the things they said were impossible had already been done, but couldn’t, and still can’t, specifically discuss it. It was/is galling, I damn near bit my tongue off.

So, it appears that, once again, Reagan was right to push the issue and move ahead with SDI. That’ll stick in the craws of the left.

I predict all will go well. We have run successful tests of ICBM intercepts that the legacy drive by media has failed to cover or highlight. There were unsuccessful tests in the early days of testing that they did highlight with headlines mentioning wasted dollars.

So.. I predict all will go well. I would be highly surprised if the intercept does NOT succeed. Mark my words here!!!

Pardon me, but are we not all supposed to be dead by now from the half-dozen Category 5 hurricane that The Most Rev. Algore said would hit within half an hour after this year’s hurricane season started?

I just want to know how much longer I need to lie out here on the hillside wrapped in a blanket and waiting for the end. The ants are really making me itch!

Are you implying that The Most Rev. Algore might be …. wrong? As Vizzini would say, “Inconceivable!” Have you never heard of the Infallibility of Progressives? It’s a known scientific fact.

We are all going to die by Category 5 hurricane this year. Next year for sure. 2008 at the latest. Or the year after that.
