Talk about a story that hasn’t gotten much attention in the media:

20 dead, 20 captured in raid on Al Qaeda hub

The town’s residents fought alongside the Iraqi forces during the raid, helping them kill and capture the terrorists, a U.S. military news release said.

Now, imagine if the town’s residents came out to fight against the Iraqi forces. Do you think that story would be plastered all over the tv screens?

Good stuff there eh, NC.

It partially explains some of the story but ne’er the significance, as that is precisely the kind of real news that ought to be broad cast. But only if bringing about a quicker and righteous finale for the problems in their country were the real agenda for these seditionist reporters.
