Little Adam continues to do well recovering:

July 30, 2007 3:31pm Update

Hi Gang: (Meow) Adam here, you know the Forgotten Feline kitty from Santa Rosa, California! Instead of Jennifer talking for me, I thought I’d write to you myself. I’m feeling GREAT. People from all over the world are sending me toys and beds and treats – yummmm. I love to eat. Somebody even sent me a CD to listen to and a special cat video to watch. Tina, my foster Mom, tells me that I shouldn’t expect this to continue forever, but it is like this when you have a birthday. Presents, (meow) I love em! After I get done playing with my toys, I like to sleep on my foster Mom’s bed and watch the Nature Channel. Sometimes I sleep all day and then like to watch TV in the middle of the night. Foster Mom doesn’t really like it, but hey, I’m a night owl! Then she wakes me up at 6:00am to go work at the Animal Hospital where I get to snooze till noon and then see what the mail brings for me! Speaking of which, I see something new to play with right now – sorry gotta go. Meow!

Hi, it’s Jennifer. Hope you all liked hearing from Adam. He is quite a character, and simply adorable in every way. He truly has no idea what a celebrity he has become all over the world. We just received a phone call from a man with a charming Texas “twang” who was wondering when he was going to receive an “Adam” update. He said “Everybody in Texas is wonderin’ what’s goin’ on!” We’re happy to report that Adam’s last skin graft has taken beautifully. Tina and Adam visit Dr. Lisa Alexander, our surgeon, every other day for bandage changes. She will do one more skin graft surgery tomorrow, Tuesday 7/31/07. We’re hopeful that this will be the last surgery he will have. In a few hours we’re off to pick up Caesar and Sarah for a visit with Adam. Neither have seen him since they rescued him on that fateful day last month.

Here is a photo gallery of Adam pix, starting with pictures from July 24 to back to the day he was brought in in late June. He’s come a long way.

Stay strong, little cutie!
