VIDEO: Gov. Linda Lingle (HI) speaks at the RNC

This is a speech that was made before Rudy’s speech last Wednesday night that didn’t get much attention, primarily because Gov. Lingle is not only not well-known nationally in comparison to Rudy and (now) Gov. Palin, but also because of the fact that Lingle is known as one of those “RINO” type Republicans who carries the banner but then turns around and supports things like Hawaii’s secession from the US.

However, she gave a damn fine speech (although not soaring in comparison to Gov. Palin’s) last Wednesday night in praise of Gov. Palin – a Governor she knows well – and I wanted to post the video to it here. It takes her a few minutes to get warmed up (she gets going around the 7 minute mark), so please be patient
