This cartoon comes pretty close to saying it all when it comes to the “priorities” of DC Democrats these days.

Unfortunately, the Democrats control the White House and both Houses of Congress. Whether they are truly serious people or not, we have to take them seriously. They have the power to seize your property and ruin your life.

Dana, I think most of us know that already. The point behind the cartoon was to show how seriously screwed up their priorities are.

Dana, there may be some good news. Seems some of the more moderate Democrats are starting to balk at supporting Reid/Pelosi/Obama with more of these spending bills. I think Reid/Pelosi are going to find it harder and harder to get that 60 vote majority over the coming months.

As my brother-in-law said the other day, most Americans are somewhere in the middle. And these moderate Democrats know that. They know who elected them to office, and I think soon we will see a rebellion of sorts…

That’s my hope, anyway.

There is so much in the news lately about Rush being the “spokesman” for the conservatives. So much baloney, of course, but the mushmind results of public education listen to anything that’s repeated at least twice by the MSM.

He is no more the “spokesman” for conservatives than Pelosi or Reid (I’d use a prominent liberal radio personality with a following of more than three, but one doesn’t come to mind immediately) are for the radical left. The radical left, as exemplified by such as these, are in at least as much disarray as conservatives, especially if you break them down (as conservatives are) into the extremist and simply loony camps.

Hence, the democrats can’t be taken seriously because they have an ideological agenda that supercedes any logical argument they could possibly come up with, and they simply refuse any argument that requires use of facts and reality.
