To give you an idea of the level of “journalism” involved, both Hersh and Olbermann talk about the secret and unaccountable JSOC. Well, JSOC is secret unless you count their wikipedia page, the stories about them on globalsecurity.com, the story about their new commander in The Navy Times etc. etc. all of which basically say that it is a joint command for conducting counter terrorism operations. They are as accountable as any other military command. Neither Olbermann, nor Hersh, nor MSNBC seems to have heard of this new, amazing “google” thing which allows people to check things out.
