I just finished reading the interesting article “The Arrogance of His Power” by R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr. at THE AMERICAN SPECTATOR online: . . . . I felt relieved to know that someone out there actually has the same or similar view of this President. I found his lack of demonstrated patriotism prior to the election unconscionable, and his continual irreverent representation of my country overseas to be embarrassing. The media’s “slobbering love affair” with him, and his continual blame shifting, is both tedious and insulting. While he has some of the country bamboozled–the rest of us watch in horror! My grandfather would never have believed the day would come when a US President would ask the Congress to sign a 1000+ stimulus bill without reading it–and then, sign it himself without reading it. I have not participated in any Tea Parties, but I share their disgust with our nation’s politicians who continually spend our money as if it were theirs. AND where are the Senate hearings for the people who are responsible for this financial meltdown? I have to ask myself why a man, who has never been in charge of anything, wants to be President when he obviously has such disdain for this country.

and just when is the usurper going to show the citizens of this country his long form birth certificate and his college records.

to the scoffers, i simply ask this.
why do you think he has teams of lawyers working to keep these things hidden. if anyone can successfully answer that, i’ll go away.

Yo, I believe he has a copy of his Hawaiian birth certificate posted ONLINE. I wonder whether he hid his Masters thesis –because of its topic/content—or if Harvard let him graduate without one!

Brontefan, it not a birth certificate; it is a Hawaiian birth registration, issed who-knows-when, that anyone, born anywhere, can get. He refuses to release an actual birth certificate, for reasons I cannot fathom. The online document has, purportedly, been heavily altered. There a many Web sites covering the details, and a number of lawsuits have been filed to force him to prove his U.S. birth (his own aunt claims he was born in Kenya, not Hawaii; the Kenyan government agrees). If he was born in Kenya, but his birth was only registered in Hawaii (and posted in a local newspaper a week or more later), it is possible he is not legally entitled to office.

Allegedly he is a poor writer, and disclosure of his thesis and other personally penned-documents would cast further doubt on the authorship of his so called, and critically acclaimed, autobiographies. He is given credit for writing his speeches, but, in fact, does not.

If he really can write, why hide the evidence? If he really was born in Hawaii, why hide the certificate? There may be nothing sinister involved, but his actions are doing nothing to clear the air.

The Hawaiian birth certificate has issues….I maintain that true authentication is necessary not just posting something on line. What is he hiding? I am sure if you had his school records they would have to have an official birth certificate…of course, under affirmative action it may be something that is easily overlooked.

His thesis, like Hillary’s, is probably some tome to community activists of the socialist ilk. Since there is such scant evidence of Barry’s writing prowess, I would love to read what got him out of Harvard and into his law practice.

brontefan, you can believe whatever you want to, but, ahem, that doesn’t make it the truth.

He DOES NOT have a copy of his birth certificate posted online. Anyone that has third grade reading skills can look at what he has posted and see that it is not a birth certificate. Did you go to school in Durham?

LOOK, people [Yo & Bored]–I have never seen the document he supposedly has posted online. I was merely passing along the information. I don’t “believe” he is competent to be President not based on his “doctored” birth registration nor the mysterious Masters Thesis that is being hidden from the public. I believe it based on the fact that both autobiographies are fiction–he writes how he wants it to have been rather than how it actually was. Good God! if you think I am defending this guy, you’re way off base. It wouldn’t make any difference whether he was eligible to be Prez or not, the majority of the mainstream media is already in the tank for him and his socialist agenda. I am a Vietnam-era veteran and military widow—I have no use for anyone who refuses to salute my flag or wear a flag pin. He actually ran on the anti-American platform but these liberals still voted for him. I happen to own Ziegler’s “Media Malpractice” and know exactly how corrupt the media has been in the previous presidential election. I only know that I find it painful to listen to him speak with all the “ahhs” and now Robert Gibbs is doing the same thing when asked a question. Does everyone need a teleprompter?
