NYT Finally Admits It Spiked Obama/ACORN Corruption Story

From the NYT’s weak excuse for covering this up:

If true, it would mean that Times editors, whose job is to report the facts without fear or favor, were so lacking in integrity that they withheld an important story in order to influence the election.

Riiiight.

Just because the Times editors had no problem putting a false story about an affair between McCain and a lobbyist on the front page above the fold…

And just because the Times editors gave Obama access to their editorial page, but refused to print McCain’s rebuttals…

And just because in mid-October, just before the final debate, the NYT ran an “analysis” that almost exactly echoed an internal Democrat talking points memo…

That’s NO reason to think they’d spike a story to influence the election.

Suuure.

The NYT’s credibility is right up there with Nancy Pelosi’s.
