That article is little more than a feel-good puff piece. The imam misrepresents jihad as understood by all the orthodox schools of Islamic law, and he fails to renounce the effort to subject the infidel (that’s us) to sharia law — which would be hard for him to do, since fighting the unbeliever (again, that’s us) until he submits is a command from Allah, repeated several times in the Qur’an and the hadiths. He’s either a heretic or dissembling.

And for that rabbi to tout a letter from ISNA? He’s either a naive fool or desperate to believe anything but the truth. The Islamic Society of North America is a front for the Muslim Brotherhood and an unindicted co-conspirator the Holy Land Foundation trial on charges of funding Hamas. It was a standard, practiced deception on ISNA’s part, and this tool of a rabbi was all too willing to go along.
