Friday/Weekend Open Thread

It’s amazing what a little TLC will do for flowers and plants, eh? The below is my running experiment on how long I can actually keep a petunia alive. Previous attempts have been unsucessful, but I think the last time it was because it had too much sun during the day. It gets partial shade now during the hottest part of the day.

Two weeks and counting

Oh – and yes, for you eagle-eyed readers out there, that IS an Aqua Globe I’m using. Those things are awesome!

I DON’T KNOW WHAT ARESAY IS WORRIED ABOUT WITH THIS CASH FOR CLUNKERS PROGRAM. THIS WILL BE THE SAME AS THE MORTGAGE MESS. OBAMA WILL REDUCE THE CAR PAYMENT OR EVEN FORGIVE SOME OF IT, SAME AS HE HANDLED THE MORTGAGE MESS. HE REWARDED THE IDIOTS AT THE EXPENSE OF PEOPLE THAT PLAY BY THE RULES.
