You probably heard about this. The Obama White House set up a blog to promote its ObamaCare program. As part of it efforts to win the hearts and minds of the public, they issued a request with these now chilling words, “if you…see something that seems fishy….send it to the White House.” Here is the request in context. From the White House blog site, these verbatim exerpts, that are difficult to believe:

“UPDATE: As part of our effort to push back on the misinformation about health insurance reform, we’ve launched WhiteHouse.gov/realitycheck. It’s full of videos and tools you can use to share the facts with your friends and family. Check it out.

LINK There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”

TRANSLATION: Help us keep an eye on your neighbors, and contact the White House with info on the perpetrators who are spreading lies against us.

I just received an email from the president’s top advisor asking me to help spread the real truth about Obamacare. Now, I do not regularly correspond with the White House, so I can only assume that someone sent my email address to flag@whitehouse.gov“,the website the White House set up for reporting your neighbor’s emails and conversation that oppose ObamaCare.

My numerous comments and blogs must have caused an Obama informant to secretly turn my name in to the White Housel. So today, I received this Obama email personally from David Axelrod.

Even though I am not a conspiracy person, I find it a little unsettling for the White House to send me an email saying that I can, “help share the truth about health insurance.”

I wrote back that I was glad to get his letter that explained Obama’s position, however; the letter explained the Pelosicare, not Obamacare. Obama has never offered a bill. Only the Pelosi House members have written the 1000 page draft, that most of the congress say they have not read.

Maybe I am over reacting to this email, but something about it just doesn’t sit right.
