M.D., prayers? Teaching? I hope for your sake that’s not a public university you are scheduled to start at, ’cause if they find out about a request for prayer…

And about unemployment (from the hot headlines), this guys statement would have been 8 column banner headline stuff 4 years ago, but I doubt seriously you’ll find it in your local birdcage liner. Just another example of media bias and hypocrisy.

Ah, Hatteras Light. As you may know, lighthouses in the US all have distinguishing architectural features or are painted in distinctive patterns to make them instantly recognizable by day.

Oh, but who cares, aside from obsessive trivia geeks or professional mariners, you ask? A fair question, to which I respond with this: Which category am I in, do you suppose? No fair hedging your bets by saying “both.”

I think that’s awesome! I always said that if I wasn’t a cop I would have been a teacher/professor. I’m hoping when I retire to get a teaching job of some kind, I think its a fantastic profession.

Kate, my sister used to teach at Temple, but she was in the Econ dept. From talking to her, my guess is she has about the same chance of getting a stand-up conservative prof as she would at a public.
