Will Obama declare this cop “acted stupidly”?

Watch this video of a man holding up an anti-ObamaCare sign up at a town hall, and then watch the reaction of the police officer who saw it.

Here’s a summary (via the You Tube link):

This video was taken on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009 at Rep. Jim Moran’s (D-VA) Town Hall meeting on Obama Deathcare (Howie Dean was there too) held at South Lakes High School in Reston, VA.

Many people were left outside when the school filled to capacity. School security officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. did not like my anti-Obamacare poster which used one of the gone-viral “Joker” graphics. [Seen at the beginning of the video. –ST]

When I said to Officer Cheeks, “This used to be America!” his response was: “It ain’t no more, OK?”

Noel Sheppard echoes the thoughts of many:

“It ain’t [America] no more, okay?”

So amazingly said a police officer at a town hall meeting in Reston, Virginia, Tuesday when he refused to allow a protester to display an anti-ObamaCare sign.

I kid you not.

If we had an honest media in America, the following video would have been broadcast repeatedly over the past few days to demonstrate how free speech in our nation is indeed under attack.

Well, the officer definitely did get one thing right: His attitude – and those of many ObamaCare proponents who are showing up at town halls across the country in an effort to intimidate the opposition – is not representative of the America I know and love.

And this, my dear readers, is one of the main reasons we must continue this fight. If we as the opposition give up, the mob rule thug mentality wins and we all – young and old alike, lose.

Never.give.up.
