Two words: personal responsibility.

Conservatives have it and believe in it. Liberals haven’t matured enough to understand it. To them, everything is someone else’s responsibility.

Witness Obama spending half his waking hours blaming Bush for the huge deficit he’s put in place since January.

It’s why liberals expect the government to do everything for them, which leads directly to the fact that conservatives give more to charities than liberals.

So it’s not surprising that conservatives take better care of the environment while liberals litter it up like pigs.

The concept of personal responsibility is completely foreign to liberals (and to a big chunk of those without the guts to take a stand on issues, aka “moderates”).

So, while they’re out there “saving the planet” by protesting, demonstrating, taking personal jets to faraway places to give speeches about the evils of such things, or making the military kowtow to one’s wishes to make multiple stops between the rigors of running the House and making it to family functions and wine-tasting events on time, they feel just doing what they’re doing is enough, someone else can clean up.

I really don’t think they should be called hypocrites. It disparages hypocrites worse than they deserve.

I was there and I took a trash bag with me. I picked up a sign that were inadvertently drop in the crush of the crowd, too. I was told it would be a good idea to take along an extra trash bag to help clean up by the 912 organizers. People during the march actually admonished others to pick up their litter.

I noted that there were no trash receptacles, due to security issues and the fear of someone using them for bomb receptacles, I am sure.

As stated above,the conservatives planned ahead and understood that leaving trash behind would be definitely be used against them by the media. As it was shown, the media gave Obama lovers a huge pass – not surprising considering even more important issues that they deny, fail to cover and ignore. Disgusting!

So the liberals know how to talk the talk, but they sure don’t walk the walk!!!
