VIDEO: Democrat Senator admits WH quid pro quo with Big PHarma

The funny thing? He didn’t realize what he was admitting:

Transcript of the (literal) money quote:

[Senator Tom Carper, D-DE] I’ll tell you β€” if someone negotiated a deal with me and I agreed to put up say, 80 dollars or 80 million dollars or 80 billion dollars and then you came back and said to me a couple of weeks later β€” no no, I know you agreed to do 80 billion and I know you were willing to help support through an advertising campaign this particular β€” not even this particular bill, just the idea of generic health care reform? No, we’re going to double β€” we’re going to double what you agreed in those negotiations to do. That’s not the way β€” that’s not what I consider treating people the way I’d want to be treated.

What was that Obama said as a candidate about, as President he wouldn’t engage in the “same ol’ Washington tricks”? Umm … this is CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN! ;)

Shall we hold our collective breath waiting on the MSM to relentlessly pursue the facts surrounding this backroom deal? Better not …

Not a good last couple of weeks for the WH – still no deal on ObamaCare, the ACORN scandal is exploding, they were exposed this week for cutting a similar deal with the NEA that they apparently did with Big Pharma, our President gets shown up at the UN twice: Once by Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper – not actually at the UN but making a statement on behalf of the Canadian delegates there, and the other time by Czech Republic President VΓ‘clav Klaus, and now Carper exposes the deal with Big Pharma.

Impressive, but not in the way the administration hoped any of it would be.
