Hater throws tomatoes at Sarah Palin, hits cop instead

Whoops (via Dan Riehl):

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (FOX 9) – A man was arrested for throwing tomatoes at Sarah Palin during her book signing on Monday at the Mall of America.

Jeremy Olson, 33, allegedly threw two tomatoes from the second balcony, however did not come close to hitting Palin.

Bloomington Police report that Bloomington Commander Mark Stehlik was struck in the face with one of the tomatoes and may face charges for assaulting a police officer. Olson was booked at the Bloomington jail. He was arrested for suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.

Sometimes good things happen to complete idiots.

The only question remains: Did anyone check to see which media outlet he was from?

Not good……….for Mr. Olson. You see, cops don’t like having things thrown at them and believe it or not we have lots of people in jail who owe us favors. Do the math.

Doesn’t matter what outlet he was from – he could have been Chrissy Tingle-leg’s stand-in for all we know, or paid by MSDNC’s Keithy, maybe, but what you won’t hear about this episode is anything resembling reality from anyone in the MSM.

Unless, of course, the idiot was arrested and cuffed. At that point he can claim police brutality and the entire media (even music stations) will pick it up and run with it at 100 mph.

Where are the Civility Nazis? You remember – the ones who treated every tough question aimed at a Democrat at town halls this summer as practically being an assassination attempt. When will they speak out against Jeremy Olson?

Can you imagine the reaction from the state-run media if Olson had thrown his maters at Obama? Entire areas of the US would be deforested by trees being cut down to make the paper to print the full-scale newspaper and magazine denunciations of “right-wing hate”.

And this wasn’t even on a college campus, either, so this must be the liberal equivalent of the “tea party” folk–only they hide in their apartments and throw garbage from their balconies…such courage!

Luckily the hand of fate has intervened and a police officer was struck….nice aim, fella. Should have stayed with Little League a little longer cuz you throw like a girl!

Well let’s not forget during the campaign how some left wing nut job made up a news article regarding how us crazy right wingers were shouting death threats to Obama and McCain didn’t stop us. Later when the sheriff and the secret service both investigated the allegations they were found to be made falsely. But yet ever a** kissing member of the MSM went with it.

But know I do not in any way expect the MSM to even acknowledge this story. Look how they are ingnoring the whole global warming controversy. These guys all get their orders from on high thru their miracle working fax machines; “look god sent us another fax”!!! Funny how it always has a DNC or White House header on the page. So deluded and so full of deception and hate.

I hope they throw the book at this guy and he spends some time in jail for his stupidity. I could careless if they ruin his life. If he has nothing better to do than throw fruit around at people, then his life wasn’t of all that great to begin with. security not being top quality for palin might be a serious problem…if you can get some tomatoes past the cops for this event, maybe it needs to be a lot better… that 15 minutes of fame is mighty enticing these days.

In an ideal (conservative) world, Lorica, “throw the book at this guy” would include a felony charge so he could never get the chance to “teach” (indoctrinate) our kids, could never be a cop, could never be a lot of things not allowed with a criminal (felony) record.

Unfortunately, bleeding hearts in the VN protest days made most actions like this as misdemeanors and the loony louts were (and still are) able to get hold of our lives and our children’s lives and mess with their heads and acceptance of responsibility.

Hardly news; remember how ecstatic our friends on the left were when the Iraqi journalist chucked a couple of shoes at President Bush?

Somehow I doubt that their senses of humor would stretch far enough to include a tomato thrown at President Obama, or a pie-in-the-face of Nancy Pelosi.

Well you may have meant it in jest by suggesting what media outlet Jeremy Olson works for, but it just so happens that there IS a Jeremy Olson who works for the Pioneer Press in St. Paul. Check out the author if the attached article…
