Obama’s teleprompter is like Linus’ blankie.

Off topic, what plugin do you use for the comments that allows auto bold, indent, link, etc? Just can’t seem to one at WordPress.org.

Don’t ya think, if you were McCain, that you’d hit this bunch of kindygartners in the White House really hard for their lack of maturity…after all he received a drubbing from them last November and they’re putting down his running mate ( who has already endorsed him ). Even clever sarcasm looks pretty weak!

Well, ya see, that’s the difference between a country girl and a law perfesser: the country girl just needs a reminder here and there, while the law perfesser cain’t do a thing without TOTUS, without sounding like a, uh, uh, complete, uh, uh, idiot. I mean, it’s not like he knows how many states he’s president of, or the difference between a corpse and a corps.

Seems like the country girl speaks from knowledge. The perfesser has never had an original thought, can’t handle change and doesn’t have a clue what he’s talking about. Evuh. He just read his lines from a speech he’s never seen, written by his backstage thug corps. Or corpse. Whatever.

I’m pretty experienced as a public speaker, and I’ve always used some form of notes, though when I’ve prepared properly I’ve usually not had to refer to them very much. I had to use a teleprompter on *one* occasion..some woman had run 30 minutes over the allotted time at the same event the previous year, resulting in the edict of teleprompters and pre-timed speeches for all. I found it kind of creepy.

That’s funny, David – I find the use of the TOTUS by the POTUS kind of creepy, too. Kinda makes one wonder if he really knows anything at all, or if all his “knowledge” just spoon-fed to him in front of audiences, even third graders?
