The ST blog celebrates its 7th anniversary :)

Can’t believe that I forgot until last night that Oct. 3rd was my 7 year anniversary. Time flies when you’re havin’ fun, and we’ve had a lot of fun at this blog over the years. :)

7 years, and still going strong. And what I said last year on the 6th anniversary still holds true for this year.

Interesting tidbit: I’ve been celebrating 10-3 as my official blogiversary but after a scan of my archives a couple of months ago I realized my actual first post was on June 27, 2003 – on the New York Times being stuck in a time warp. Seeing as though I didn’t blog again until October 3rd of that same year – and at that time I began to blog fairly regularly – we’ll keep 10-3 as the official blogiversary. :D

What else can I say but mega-thanks to my wonderful readers for your continued support, encouragement, etc. It means more than I – who am almost never at a loss for words – can express. And a special happy blogivesary to Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey, whose 7th blogiversary was also 10-3. A nicer, thought-provoking, courteous, and friendly blogger you will never meet. Both newbie bloggers and longtime bloggers still look to him for inspiration as we continue to do what we love to do.

Also – thanks to my co-blogger Irish Spy aka Phineas aka Anthony. His help and contributions to this site in a blogging capacity over the last several months have been invaluable.
