It’s definitely fall-like here in the Queen City. Will probably have to wear a light jacket when I go out and about later today.

If it’s not mercury in CFC light bults, cancerous gas additive MTBE thru the ground water, or now .. LED light suppressing the production of melatonin which adjusts our biological clock and is known for its anti-oxidant and anti-cancerous properties.
Next, we will find out that “heavy metals” from solar panels are leaching into the ground water.

After years of complaints by environmentalists that the long term effects of products has not been examined, now they are just fine ignoring them till they bite us in the ..

I gotta go with Clemson. Auburn’s streak against them has to end sooner or later (as well as all of their close wins in a row).

Nice bright mid-seventies here as my Ducks rolled over FCS MO State. Nothing of note there, except Tony Dungy’s son caught his first TD pass as a Duck.

Boehner apparently has a challenger in his Repub primary now, a TEA partier who’s upset at his support of the funding bill lavishing killer dollars on PP. Can’t say as what I blame him (the challenger), but there are certainly more issues about Boehner than that, like negotiating against himself in the debt ceiling debacle.

And apparently the Solyndra thing has opened up a whole can of worms about funding of companies not rating real high on economic survivability. But what really grinds at me is when people like Kirsten Powers says, “Come on, the money we’re talking about with Solyndra was less than 1% of the money in that bill.”

What difference does it make if it was $523M or $523? It was still such an obvious quid pro quo that had a Repub done that he would have been impeached and jailed for fraud and extortion.

But try telling that to an Obama-worshipping unicorn-riding bottom feeder.

Sitting up here in Detroit visiting mom. Took in the Michigan/Eastern Michigan game at the Big House in Ann Arbor. Great game, great tailgate, great weather. Coming home tomorrow.

Just cooling my heels awaiting da Bearss/Saints game Sunday, to see if game one for da Bearss was for real. Really hope so, especially since the we play the Packers next week.

I’m spoiled I grew up when the Cowboys were America’s Team and we called the UT coach Saint Daryl. Now we have no clear winners season to season, a semi leftie, a semi rightie, a communist. I’d like an actual conservative and another Saint Daryl just once before I kick the bucket.
