The Panthers at the Houston Texans

As much as I love the Cats, especially now that Yes We Cam Newton is in the house, I don’t see them winning today versus the playoff-hungry Houston Texans.   Not only do we have a lot of new players still trying to mesh, we’ve been plagued with injuries of late – not to mention that we possess a stunning ability to choke in the second half.

That’s not to say I’m not rooting for my team, of course.  I can still do that, even though I picked the Texans to win in this week’s office football pool.  Game time is 1 ET – broadcast on Fox.

The “big game” being hyped this week is the Patriots at the Broncos, being billed as “Brady vs Tebow.”  Me? I’m hoping for a good game.  The sports mediots? Some are hoping for a Tebow loss so we can “get back to football.”  Game time for that one is 4:15 ET (CBS).

Will Green Bay make it 14-0 against Kansas City? Likely.  Also a 1 ET game.
