Liar in Chief offers up another lie on #Obamacare promise: “I’m sorry”

Disappeared — You’re sorry alright, Mr. Prez.

President Obama said Thursday that he is “sorry” that some Americans are losing their current health insurance plans as a result of the Affordable Care Act, despite his promise that no one would have to give up a health plan they liked.

“I am sorry that they are finding themselves in this situation based on assurances they got from me,” he told NBC News in an exclusive interview at the White House.

“We’ve got to work hard to make sure that they know we hear them and we are going to do everything we can to deal with folks who find themselves in a tough position as a consequence of this.”

“Obviously we didn’t do a good enough job in terms of how we crafted the law,” Obama said in the interview Thursday. “And, you know, that’s something I regret. That’s something we’re gonna do everything we can to get fixed … We’re looking at a range of options.”

No, no, no, NO. No “fix it” legislation, Mr. President. We know this law was written the way it was BY DESIGN. It needs to be delayed. It needs to be repealed. STAT.

Honestlly, BO’s “apology” reminded me of “apologies” from ex’s who basically were “apologizing” over the fact I believed their lies. I’m a lot smarter now, and I’m not buying our celebrity President’s seeming 180, and nor should you.

And does this mean those “bad apple insurers” really aren’t to blame after all? So many questions, and of course Chuck Todd – who was very eager to point out the President was going to work to make sure he eventually ‘kept his promise’ – didn’t bother asking.

“Radical” and “Destructive” were the terms he used to describe Republicans in their efforts to inform the country about this train wreck legislation that’s going to destroy the middle class.
He said this yesterday in Dallas.

The reason he’s doing this now is his poll numbers are taking a dive and Senate Dems called a meeting to give him the lay of the land they are going to be dealing with come election time. Their backs are against the proverbial wall and I’m sure a few let him know it.

That said, we’re dealing with a pathological liar here. He’s the ultimate con man, as is proven by all the suckers who fell and continue to fall for his schtick. It’s all he knows. Snake oil and lying. Period.

Unfortunately, the computer disaster will probably be only one of many Obamacare disasters. The latest estimates are that somewhere between 93 million to 128 million Americans will lose their coverage. It’s so sad that so many Americans fell for Obama’s and the Democrats’ lies. I’m still hoping that Obamacare goes away like Prohibition went away. The majority of Americans will fare better with Obamacare repealed…. Then, they truly will be able to keep their insurance plans and their doctors. Everyone must remember that 87% of Americans were satisfied with their healthcare when the Democrats insisted on passing Obamacare. It makes any thinking person question why the Democrats passed a law that changed the entire healthcare system when they could have passed a law that would address only those Americans who were insured.

It needs to be delayed. It needs to be repealed. STAT.

Hold not thy breath. Obamacare is the crown jewel of 20th Century Statism, only slightly edited for employment in the 21st. Mark Steyn put it nicely when he noted that government-run health care “redefines the relationship between the individual and government” to so great an extent that there’s no imaginable way back.

This will be the cleavage point between Constitutionalists and “moderate Republicans.” The former realize how pernicious the ACA really is, and will agitate for its complete repeal before it can be completely effectuated. The latter will, in their traditional go-along-to-get-along style, say, “No, there are parts of this we like, so let’s not repeal it, let’s fix it,” never admitting even to themselves that what they like best is the huge boost it gives to the power of the political class – America’s nomenklatura.

Either we win this one, or the Republic has fallen and won’t get up again in our lifetimes.

It took the National Health Service almost 40 years to implode in the UK. My relatives there can testify to the poor quality, lack of adequate services, shortage of doctors and nurses, etc. Some in my family actually purchase insurance so that if something happens they don’t have to use National Health Service. What did these idiots in DC expect? A nation this size? And these idiots spend money with absolutely NO accountability… and with total disregard for the hard working American taxpayers. The Marxist in Chief is NOT sorry… and not even a whiny phony apology can gloss over the mess they’ve made of the medical industry. And guess what? it’s going to get much worse… unless some of the country wake up and smell the tyranny.

Sorry, this is simply not the case. They are finding themselves in this situation, because that is the way the law and the implementing regulations were designed. It has nothing to do with his “assurances.” The cancellations, etc., are all supposed to happen, becuase these twits believe they should be entrusted with the responsiblity to determine for me whether the plan I have or desire to have is, in their own words, substandard or insuffucuent or poor plans. If I am happy with it because it suits my needs for me and my family, it is just right. Not too bad and not overly good – just what works well for us. But then again, I’ve only been in the workforce for the better part of 4 decades, married to my love for more than 32 years, have a graduate degree in a non-social science field. How could I possibly know anything about what is good for me and mine. I’ve just been doing it for more 35+ years and have only been out of a job through no fault of my own for less than 3 months in that time. But wait for it, the employer-based plans are next. The same cancellations will occur in those plans as well.
